It's the 10th anniversary of the release of my documentary Head Down. On this occasion, I am pleased to present to you a completely remastered version: Head Down - 10TH Anniversary Edition. Among the new features, you will find: A new master, which goes from 480p to 2160p (4K). Color grading has been redone image by image, with better managed, more vibrant colors, etc. New aspect ratio, which changes from 2.35 to 2.1, offering more images from top to bottom. The graphic part has been revised to make it as timeless as possible. Some minor adjustments have also been made to the editing.
Significant improvements have been made to the audio mixing, however, I wanted to keep the original sound as much as possible. This overall saturation remains present to better reproduce the "auditory violence" that I experienced during these numerous events. Beyond the technical aspect, this new version includes a brand new chapter: The last dance. In total, there are 16 minutes of unseen footage waiting for you. New artists also make their appearance.
Head Down resurrects a collective memory, a bygone era. Some of these festivals no longer exist today, some venues have closed definitively, and unfortunately, some artists have left us since then. It was therefore all the more important in my eyes to inscribe and anchor these images forever. So that each of you can immerse yourselves in these crazy years, all this in the best possible conditions thanks to current technologies. I hope you will enjoy discovering this new version. Thanks to all the people and the many artists who have opened their doors to me and trusted me. A big thank you to the audience for your energy and support over all these years. Thank you all for the crazy and wonderful times.
All the best
Jonathan Dailler
