One of Head East beautiful yet haunting balads Johns voice is un matchable no one in the 70's was before him, And Michael is too cool. That's one HOT guitar; Please people and fans don't mistake the copy band that's out now to the orgional band in the 70's

You hit that on the Head. Roger is a helluva Keyboard player. And he is the only one left of the original line up. No one can match John Schlitt on vocals PERIOD !

Saw Head East at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. The Alley in Highwood Illinois. Some huge tavern in East Troy Wisconsin. Each time they put on a great show. That was back in the late 70s. Then I saw them in '15 up near St Paul. Good show but it wasn't the classic line up I grew up with from the 70s.

Beautiful piano thruout the song. What a great band. My brother and I went to a big box store back in the 70s called Korvettes and bought this a few days after it came out. My favorite song by Head East.

When the metaldaze are going to fade with age, it's the cosy old heartland Rock that becomes prominent once again. I am grateful for their legacy👏

Thank you so much for this. I haven't heard this album for probably 20 years give or take. The Victim is a great jam. The first album was the best, but I wore this out and remember every song just like I heard it yesterday. So underrated.

That's a fact Head East, Was totally underrated.. When Roger Boyd, Fire John Schlitt, The band fell apart from there they could not replace John schlitt as a lead vocalist. Anyone they got Danny odoms, They try to replace John with this guy and this guy did pretty good but could not replace the lead vocalist..

@@messengerofgodlightstorm438 Head East DID hire a replacement of John Schlitt. Thanks to his cousin. The real John Schlitt nearly died from a horrible car accident in '79. You're welcome.

Korvettes was in Morton Grove Illinois. They had a huge, great record department. They were in business in the 60s and 70s. Kinda like a Kmart only bigger.

Does anyone really know of JUST who this sad song was EVEN about?! His own childhood! The lady who adopted him as a very young child. They're were actual death threats against his adoptive mother. Child abuse. l was married to John for nearly 18 years. It's unspeakable and yet so true. John poured his soul into this unknown to this relic. I set seriously hope that she is frying in Eternal Flames of Hell. I confess that because she nearly beated him into a DOA before any of us, even learned of just what the hell that means, today. Thank you, John. 💗
