All head injuries are potentially serious because they can damage the brain and make someone become unresponsive. Keep the patient on the floor leaning against something sturdy and keep one hand on the person, being able to feel any movement or change. Keeping them low to the ground prevents ferther possible injury. If you know there is no spinal or head injury only. Otherwise try keep them close your position found, unless the patient insist another position is more comfortable and can move themselves, then lightly assist their comfort a d keep the airway clear and maintain the ABC rule airway, breathing circulation is not being obstructed

Any advice if the patient is unresponsive, bleeding heavily from nose and first responder cannot risk moving the head? Should a bandage be pressed against the nose to stem the bleeding, at the risk of slightly moving the head?

If that was the case, it sounds like a severe injury, call for an ambulance immediately, as they are unresponsive, check their breathing very very regularly until the ambulance arrives. If they stopped breathing, then no choice to get responder to hold head firm as possible while you very carefully turn them on to their back and give cpr and aed, other wise they will die if that happened regardless nose bleed.

I had a car wreck a year ago and suffered head injury. I was in the front seat and my neck and nerves on the back of my head are distorted/ dislocated and I go chiropractor. I have headaches, light headache and sometimes dizzy and nausea. They did a CT scan all over head, chest, abdomen and all was clear. But I have a lot of anxiety and think other things. Why after a year I still have this headaches 😫 had a CT on day of accident all normal, it’s been a year and headache and dizzy don’t stop. My PCP told me no need for another CT and that it’s normal after a year to feel like this.

I hit the back of my head on an iron bridge when I was in a rowing boat. It swelled very quickly and I didn't get to put ice on it for a while later. I don't have access to any medical help at the moment. Although I am able to remember it and I can still talk normally. It hurts where I hit it. Should I be concerned about the swelling?

I went out with a few friends to drink and also got high. And since i rarely do any of that i got crossfaded and passed out. I woke up to one of my friends slapping my face telling me to wake up and i was so confused i asked what happened. They told me i passed out and fell from the chair and went headfirst towards the floor. Now all i got is a really bad headache but none of the other symptoms so i guess im good

If someone has fallen on their back from a ladder and positioned awkwardly on he floor and not breathing, what are you suppose to do? Can you move them in order to start CPR?

I think you react according to priority; you'd prefer not to move them, but if they aren't breathing or there's a significant loss of blood - or danger (burning car?), you take the least risk.
