I knew how they did the vibrations before you opened it up. Most of them use a standard motor with an offset weight on it. The package suggest it is a baldness treatment, and vibrations on your scalp don't help with that. If it feels good it's worth the $3 through. (I notice most items are about 4x the price in the U.S. though)

There are costlier ones here too. I choose this because I was curious and I could open it up. Surprised how simple the mechanism is, I was expecting couple of motors and sensor etc. I guess when it’s simple easier to manufacture at scale ❤️😊
