Help sometimes when i press the kick button it doesnt work do you know how fix it?

It is a glitch of the old version

unfortunately almost every character has this kicking problem, it's the only disadvantage of old HS. In order to avoid it, I usually move the character while trying to counter the opposing powershot. When the character is moving it's more likely that the kick button will work.
