I disagree with that. Teachers should have progression those teachers who has masters or phd should be promoted since they put hard work and dedication to improve themselves. Learning should be a life long pursuit of a teacher and they should be competent and well versed also.

Sana kasama sa bill na ito na kapag na-promote o na-reclass ang isang guro, hindi bumabalik sa step 1. Halimbawa kung ang isang guro ay T2 step 5 tapos na-reclass to T3, dapat tuloy lang ang step nya sa 6., hindi yung bumabalik na magiging T3 step 1.

Our honorable representatives and Rep. Roman Romulo, sana makita ninyo ang retirement pension na sana ay nakiki ayon or nakikipareho sa present prices to fight inflation to be fair with pensioners dahil nag I increase naman ang basic commodity prices.Example , nagretire si Teacher A as Teacher II so the pension should go with the present salary of Teacher II. Pensioners naman lives 1/4 of their life na.Hindi kagaya ng nangyayari noon pa na kung nagretire ka ng year 2000 as Teacher III ang pension pay sana ay yung current pay pa rin ng teacher III ng 2024 or present time hindi yung pension nya noong nagretire ay ung pension pay na inabutan nya its not going with the inflation rate.

Sana po yung voluntary transfer ay madadala pa rin ng teacher ung position niya from one division to another kasi nakaka discourage po kasi un eh. We are from SHS teachers, we are discreminated from career progression in the recent terms. Please let us be part of the new career progression. We are oftentimes rejected for upgrading our recent position because accordingly their was NO guidelines for SHS teachers for a reclasification of the recent items particularly after teacher III.

Dalawa po ang Head Teacher Isang Head Teacher na nag hahandle ng school or nag aact as school head at ang isa ay secondary schools department head na nag hahandle ng isang department sa secondary schools like mathematics head teacher science etc. ang mahirap dito mahirap na mag reclass lalo na ang mga may edad na ht.. pangalawa if aalisin ang ht mahihirapan ang mga school head sa paggagawa ng reports at activities na nnagyayari kapag bakasyon mahirap imanage ang big schools kaya for me need parin ang head teachers

Romulo, teacher"s promotion is not fair if kung babasehan lang ang education ng teacher and trainings are useless coz its a repetitive trainings at sayang lang ang budget at time ng teacher sa pagtuturo. Better focus on teaching not on trainings . Wala namang materials na maibibigay sa mga estudyante , guro pa ang gagastos dahil sa trainings na yan. Hindi na makapagturo ng maayos ang guro dahil sa ASAP na reports sa gawain na pinapagawa ng Deped.

“HT or MT or SP when tagged to your name is just like a tail of the pig, it does not guarantee the quality of the pork”. This is a manifestation that promotion on HT or MT or SP or whatever position is not just wiggling the tail but to assure yourself that you need to be of good quality as a HT, MT, etc. If you get that position in a fly by night school, think again! If your HT, MT, or Whaterver Promotion is just to feed your ego, think again. If your HT, MT, or whatever promotion just to feel superior, think again. Remember, gone are the days that HT, MT, or whatever higher position are scarce. These positions are now even experiencing oversupply. The Tail you have may wiggle, but the people will only look into the quality of the pork.

Tingnan nyo kaya kung ilang Oras Ang teaching load ng mga teachers Dito sa Pilipinas at I compare nyo sa teaching load ng ibang Bansa. Overworked teachers can affect their teaching performance. Because students that are taking PISA exam are in higher grades it would be better that teachers should teach their subject majors. If there are lack of teacher applicant for that subject get them from other divisions if there are more applicants there on that subject like math and English majors. If a teacher feels that he/ she cannot teach the lesson because she lack the knowledge to teach it then she can invite other person teach that lesson in her class. That is inviting a resource person which is also a kind of teaching strategy.

Sana may mkapansin na kinauukulan sa concern na ito. Sa K to 12 quarterly ibang branch ng science ang ituturo in every curriculum level example sa G9, quarter 1 is biology; quarter 2 chemistry; quarter 3 earth science; quarter 4 physics. E ang teacher natin mostly isang branch lang ng science ang major field nila. How can a biology teacher can effectively teach physics? or chemistry? Mas maganda pa rin yong sa Grade 7 - General Science, G8. - Biology, G9- Chemistry, G10 - Physics. Because these sci branches require teachers with this specific major para mas maituro ng maayos ang content ng lesson. 4 major fields yan na hinalohalo ngayon sa bawat curriculum level ladderized ika nga. Pero hindi ganun ka effective. Isa pa mahirap e bridge yong lesson halimbawa nlng ang physics ituturo ng isang quarter sa G7 ang karugtong ng lesson na yan sa Grade 8( 1 quarter) then itutuloy sa Grade 9...then sa G10. It takes days/week na e refresh ang students para madugtungan mo ang previous lesson (na itinuro last year) para maintindihan ng mga studyante. Hopefully this will be addressed. Ibalik sana yong dati mas effective pa rin yon.

for me the entry level dapat for a newly hired teacher must be sg14...kasi kung ikukumpara mo ang SG sa ibang asian country eh nakakadismaya ang deperensiya. kaya nga napakaraming teacher ang umaalis ng bansa dahil sa baba ng sahod ng guro...parang namamalimos ang mga guro eh..ni hindi nila kayang dalhin ang sarili o kapamilyang may sakit sa ospital dahil kapos lagi sa budget...at isa ito sa dahilan kung bakit nagkakaroon ng gap sa teaching and learning process...hindi mo maialis kay teacher na iisipin niya ang mga problemang pinansiyal hanggang sa kanyang trabaho...nacocompromise ang pagtuturo niya lalo na yung dapat matutunan ng bata...domino effect yan..

Suggestion lang po, iyong sa performance po ni teacher Sana ibabasi sa validated literacy and numeracy result of her/his learners inside the class and the percentage of his/her PBB is calculated and based on the percentage of learners who are of quality literacy and numeracy - so the most numbered of validated literate and numerate learners be given higher share in the PBB . And that for those teachers with a number of learners who belong to intervention level both in literacy and numeracy must be the one to handle these learners in the NLC not to be given or handled by the volunteer teachers - para "back job" po ba kasi sila naman ang nakaalam sa kakulangan ng bata para maachieve ang standards sa grade level.

How about head teachers Po in the elementary..hanggang HT3 lng Po kc. unlike sa secondary na pwede mapromote hanggang HT6.

In my own experienced as a parent where my kids are in public schools, classrooms are very congested most specially in urban areas. Do think 1 teacher can handle 50 students each day and the poor quality of teaching materials and subjects that they have? You should have decongest the classrooms and add more teachers if you want quality PISA result. Dont pin point that teachers who has MA's and PHD cant improve those pisa results atleast commend them that they improve themselves to the betterment of their students. You can allocate a big portion to unprogram funds (source of corruption in congress) and yet there's a lot of public school structure which are crumbling. Its a domino effect i hope you look at the root problem of this broken PH education system.

Mr. Chair. The reality is that maraming mga retired teachers ang position ay natali sa teachers 1 kasi sa promotion standard ng Deped mababa ang points na ibinibigay sa teaching experienced of teachers mas malaki ang points sa ibang aspect. Sana naman kapag matagal ka sa service consider namam teaching experience.E.g. 1-10 yrs. - teaching experienced. -5 pts. 10- and above yrs. of teaching experienced 10 pts. lang. Paano kami kami ma promote na old teachers mababa ang points sa teaching experienced namin. Mr chair, Do you believed that " Experienced teachers are best teachers". Ipagbawal ang gaming( DOTA) isa itong paraan ng witchcraft, making our student lazy and agressive. at magkaroon ng regulation sa mga bata sa paggamit ng multi media, dahil very addictive talaga. Ito talaga ang dahilan ng pagbaba ng quality education.

Mabagal ang promotion...kami nagpasa ng erf 2013.....palagi naman tinatanong kung musta na ang papers namin...alam mo kung ano nangyari...jan.2017 pa kami ininform na approved na ang papers namin, oct.2014 pa....i ask the personnel bakit umabot ng 2017 kami sinabihan gayong approved na ito 2014 pa...sabi naman ng principal at human resouce na retro daw...pero oct 2017 pa ginawan ng appointment.....walang retrong nangyari...sabi daw walang budget....ang tanong ko, di ba pag na approve na yan..pwede nang mag request ng budget....? Anyare ?nakakawalang gana.
