Great series of videos about using the HUD. Wonderful job, as usual. I have learned so much about the HUD. Thanks for your video. I have been flying the PMDG 737 since the 700 came out and even though I was aware of the HUD, I did not use it. I was not comfortable with it's operation. Thanks to your detailed instructions, I am now using the HUD to improve and simplify my experience the the 737-800. Thanks again.

Been enjoying your videos on HUD. It has been super helpful and helps with better landings with the flare guidance. I also accidently discovered a hidden click spot to bring down the HUD (on the 800 at least). The little handle grab with the two hooks on it on the pilot side. I struggled to get the normal click spot during night operations without using the flash light.

Hi, isn't that clickspot only to retract the HUD, not to extend it? At least that's what I thought it always was.

Excellent explanation on using the HUD/HGS but I was frustrated that I couldn't see anything that was explained directly on the HUD shown on the screen due to the wrong choice of brightness intensity. The brightness adjustment was chosen for those who were piloting, not for those watching the video on a tablet, which was my case

Probably he just forgot to do that since he was focusing on the explanation
