Hey. I'm a Jewish woman who only fairly recently started taking care of my curls. I'm thinking about starting to wrap to protect my curls. I see a lot of people wrap their hair with Jersey. I had thought more people would wrap with silk (I'm basing this on people using silk pillowcases/bonnets to keep their curls nice when they sleep. I could be totally off base though). I see, however that you use silk. Whats your reasoning for using silk? Is it just cause it looks great? And alternatively, do you know what the benefits of using jersey are? I know people like the stretchy-ness but I don't know much beyond that. Thank you so much for this video.

I wanted to share wit u tho a tip about ur dreads my wife recently started her dreads probably for like 1 year now what we did to get past the frizzy stage was used a crochet needle and like teased them ... there are a ton of videos on KZbin about this if your interested check them out it was like instant locks
