I think the boss battle should have two rounds. First classic era ( with cards that were out when the card was released) and then updated with modern cards. That way it's possible for boss monster to have two wins

So the Egyptian God's are my favorite cards in yugioh. Within them Ra is my favorite, followed by Slifer, then Obelisk. So it makes me so glad that Ra and Slifer were the winners

I think the issue is that with Scared Beast Cards, you need specific summons to summon them. While with Egyptian God's, you only need 3 monsters to summon them.

Yah but if you run the support then it's not that difficult to do. Especially if he uses ancient chant, true name. Mound bounds of the creator and the slifer trap then it'll be interesting. And for sue sue sacred tree and the chaos beast then it'll be a favorable match. But if they just run old cards then it's gonna be who doesn't brick will win.

All the sacred beasts are better because of the support, he should have used it in all the battles, but no, they wanted to do bad decks with sacred beast IN them, same with the God Cards, nether deck used the support for there cards, making the cards and decks suck.

@@gonerofsavers3813 I agree, and then they run crap like pot of greed to make up for the fact their decks are unplayable. I really don't get it, the new support at least is tailored towards using the big cards, these decks consisting of weak, old cards + broken draw spells to make them at least _somewhat_ playable ain't all that, in my personal opinion. These videos solely live from the 2 of them being so sympathetic and fun to watch playing, but the decks suck in a bad way.

My favorite slifer gimmick as a kid was a weenie swarm deck. Mechanic was enchanting fitting room to swarm the field without depleting my hand, if all else fails use sword of the soul eater to make a beefy jerry beans man and for a sudden slifer boost i could use the trap backup soldier for a 3000 attack boost

Shooting Star Dragon vs. Red Nova Dragon (Call the duel "Card games on Motorcycles"!) 2. Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon vs Performage Trapeze Magician 3. Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon vs Superheavy Samurai Steam Train King (Synchro battle!) 4. Number 39: Utopia vs Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon (Xyz battle!) 5. After that I suggest you doing the same bracket but with the winners of this versus their Wicked (The Wicked Gods) versions. LIke the winners so far Ra versus Wicked Avatar, Raviel versus Wicked Dreadroot and Slifer versus Wicked Eraser. Thus determining the TRUE best God variation cards! Ohh I can almost taste it. Do it please, even if it's not right after, since you might have gotten bored of playing similar decks but definately keep in mind. I promise it's going to be good.

As for the rules for the decks - I think if you limit it to 5 new cards that can help you turbo out or protect the Boss Monsters then that should be fine. This way it's not too crazy

Personally, I would actually like to see a match of each- The first with the players being limited to cards from the era they originally premiered in, to show how they played back when they forst came out. Then a second rematch where the players have access to all of the later support and bs that came after, to show how changes in the game have changed how these boss monsters are played. Some boss monsters I'd also like to see are Cyber Dark Dragon, Lifestream Dragon/Powertool Dragon, Yubel, The Dark Magicians fusion monster, and Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon. I'm not really sure what would be good matches against each since I am way behind on how the card game is balanced, but surely you could find other candidates.

The way we do it is, Lets say Card X came out in 2009 and Card Y came out in 2004, we are allowed to use cards from the NEWEST card PLUS 3 Years. So our CARD POOL is from 2012 and UNDER for BOTH DECKS!

For old vs new, I'd say _only_ use new if the new cards are dedicate support cards relevant to the given boss monster. Additionally, cards that provide draw power may also be allowed to speed up the duel. So no Ash Blossom just for the sake of it because Ash Blossom is not a dedicated support card for any boss monster.

I think it would be nice to use current cards but there’s a limit to it. You can use new cards that support the boss monster or something in line with the theme, not throwing random link plays in addition to the boss monster. It would have been nice to see the Thunderforce Attack or Dark summoning beast cards though.
