Man how I hate how they turned this into yet another iteration of Disney's "Haha stormtroopers can't hit shit, here. see them cut down in droves and taken out with more ease than fucking b1 Droids" show...great way to build tension if literally a whole hangar bay full of troopers or a hall with so many stormtroopers attacking that you can't see anything BUT them doesn't result in any real tension. In Clone wars, you wouldn't see 2 clones take on hundreds of battle droids, and those are flat-out worse troops. In all Imperial-era Disney Content they seem to be forgetting, that stormtroopers are well-trained human soldiers, and having 2 human protagonists take on dozens at a time without suffering a scratch and having them act like brain-dead morons, just to be slaughtered in most violent ways for a cheap laugh in some cases, is no way to tell a story or have any meaningful conflict whatsoever. Not to mention the possibility of further exploring the HUMANS behind those helmets. What their motivations and background are is a unique possibility. These are men and women recruited from worlds, not cloned or kidnapped at birth. But NO, they'd rather have a side character take out a couple dozen like they're basically worse battle droids. Sorry, I had to vent here a little. Just feel like they took all the tension and seriousness out of what used to be my favorite era of Star Wars..

Yes, while Star Wars has much violence, we never see anyone's getting rid of their eyeballs, getting their head chopped of on-screen and blood is rarer. And it's still meant for older kids from 12-17 and not 5-year olds.

The mercenary who captured Leia is so damn creepy, he could be Palpatines father. I don't know if the band leader plays in many films, but his peformace is seriously great and way to less people give him credit for that.

I hope they portray them better and showed more path members dying. After all the brutality they didn't want the Path people dying at all. I mean they survived loads of shit.

I mean in Jedi survivor the empire destroyed the path’s base of operations on Jedha, resulting in the deaths of many path members including 2 leaders. Yes you see Imperials getting cut down but the empire still won and the path couldn’t take on all of them so they retreated

Vader's mask getting damaged and the words shared between him and Obi-Wan has probably become one of my favorite scenes in all of Star Wars. Say what you want about the rest of the series, but this specific moment is perfectly written, directed, and acted. Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen have such good on-screen chemistry. Ewan nails Alec Guiness' speech pattern perfectly. Hayden gets a lot of flak for the prequels sometimes but honestly it's the dialogs fault and not his.
