I’ll be honest Headhunterz set seemed kinda mid in comparison to everyone else who performed, he’s been including the same songs (with a few exceptions) for the past few years and you can only make so many edits of those songs until it starts to become annoying.

It's a damn shame they won't perform as Project One out here and the fact that he has new music he rarely plays it. I get what you mean though plus personally for me Hardstyle hasn't had much inspiration lately. Reason why I kinda ventured out to Drum N Bass and Hard Techno but it's coming around.

Well, he is not releasing as much, but his style of mixing and music he made are kind of the other side fo just banging. It is a different experience, also... Just a while ago I first time attempted his set live, which was a 2.5hrs set live in a small club and I never listened to a better one, mixing wise, music played (Vertiles, DBSTF, Hardwell edits, hardstyle classics, his classics, his "new" ones, some I do not recognize as well, probably from Art of Creation). I think he has too much stuff going on and just touring around the world while at the same time being a producer, festival organizer, there is only so much you can do at the same time while keeping up the quality :) Also, a set that.. also Villain recognizes as one of the best sets ever is Headhunterz 2017 Return set. This is imho also the best set ever played, the mixing was just insane, taking into consideration the whole comeback, its just an insanely good played set with perfect song picking. Where I am coming from also to just give a background - kind of listening to every single set since 2014 every, freaking day working, gym, attending. I just love hardstyle. The euphoric energy you get, the people that come to those sets, mostly just people that want to have a great time, escape reality and just go for it having a great time and just spreading energy. I love it. Kind of agreeing what you mean tho :)
