The patience of a saint, thanks Kyle! And a thought, might as wel share it: how about an SK04 Demolition Derby at Year's End, you know 2020, going out with a bang. Perhaps there are some really crusty sedans in need of a last hurrah, bit of paint, some classic country fair style fun to liven up the place. Thank you, hope you like it.

Not sure what people have against carburetors, they're a perfectly fine way to simply get your build going. EFI is nice, but it's definitely an added bit of complexity and of course an added cost.

@joshl50034 жыл бұрын
Now I'm not 100% sure but wont you get incorrect temp readings on the dash if the thermostat ever gets stuck closed with this setup? It looks like your engine could over heat before you or the fans notice something wrong.
@tonyg45024 жыл бұрын
Yeah SK04 Josh is right you need the sensor below your thermostat. If you was to use that sensor for your efi it wouldn’t be reading a reliable coolant temperature.
@saabkyle044 жыл бұрын
TonyG That’s why The EFI sensor is in the manifold...
@joshl50034 жыл бұрын
@@saabkyle04 what about the engine coolant temp sensor being before the thermostat? If the thermostat is not opening the engine will continue heating up and your sensor will only be seeing the temp of the coolant that still has not entered the engine. The fans as well.

I'm shocked that this is being promoted as a "fuel injection system." It's actually a fancy throttle body injection system. Sort of a poor man's efi. It wasn't possible to get something closer to a 21st century fuel system in this truck?
@GarageDoorGuy894 жыл бұрын
Holley sniper EFI is the easiest way to convert from carb to EFI and those systems usually run $1000+. They aren’t exactly cheap. Most if not all sniper EFI units are self learning. In a sense it’s more advanced than what already comes in a modern vehicle. You give it some basic information about your engine and it tunes itself to those specifications and continually learns as you drive it. I think certain models can connect to your phone for tuning purposes and to provide feedback.
@Vaino_Hotti4 жыл бұрын
Throttle body injection has fuel injectors just like multi-port... It's a shame he turned away from the carb, but this is still better than MPFI with that fugly holley hi-ram everyone is using on KZbin
