How to change the headlight bulb on a Civic while standing in the walmart parking lot.

Is it the EX model with the vtec? Maybe that’s what’s different. Mine was a regular LX. That was the only new car I ever bought. I put 382,000 miles on it and sold it still running.

If you've gotta change the driver side headlight you're going to need to take the whole headlight out because the power steering reservoir is right next to it. You'll need a flathead (need to pop off 4 plugs in the middle holding the grill on), a phillips screwdriver and a socket wrench (10 mm bolt in the wheel well and on the headlight itself)

Electric Wolf I also changed that bulb in the parking lot. I think that reservois just kinda pops out. I don’t remember having to remove the headlight. I think that was about 12 or 13 years ago. I’ve been driving this stupid car for 15 years

I had to do that also. Some ppl dont get you mean entire headlight housing I guess? Made huge difference.

@@MrCatalina31768 botch comment reminds me of new technicians straight out of school and their understanding of live verses non live circuits. Working close to the battery with a ring is a lil risky but if youre competent, you'll be fine. I always lay double folder rags over batteries whenever I work so I don't set a tool on it and make the magic smoke come out
