I just did my headlights this month, what I found to be really easy is to use green tape to protect the surrounding paint! I know myself and I get over excited which makes my hands slip 😬 I used the 3M kit with the drill attachments which made my life easier and meguiars ceramic coating. Only gotta do it once a year. 😁 So as far as your headlights, sometimes there's fogging *inside*, which is near to impossible to remove. Don't give up, maybe get a kit with more sandpaper options? Let us know if there's gonna be a part 2!

I’ve never tried these products yet but I found after sanding to use a compound and then a polish even by hand makes a big difference before coating them, great video 👍😁

If needed, on trailblazers, that grille piece that goes across the front and extends into the headlight, snaps out pretty easy and allows better access.

3M products are the best for sanding and buffing and i use Mcguiar's spray headlight coding really really good

The only thing I can recommend is sanding longer and more thorough.When you’re sanding the headlight wipe it dry. If you see any shiny spots sand there and get rid of them. Also make sure headlight is completely dry because a lil bit of water will make the cerakote smear and look nasty. Also sometimes the headlight could be damaged on the inside so no matter what you do on the outside of the lens it’ll still look foggy.

I don’t think there is any great product. Try Mother’s metal polish .
