Thank u for sharing ur technique. One tip...don't use the isopropyl. I did and it scorched my reflector. My fault, I should have tested it on a small area first 😢

good video, rinse out the inside using sponge and soap, then use spirit or distilled water for final rinse. he even used air compressor to get out the water. for what it is, it’s a decent effort. 👌

Home brew as I didn't have any isopropyl alcohol. For water displacement. If you leave it for a day on the sun you can miss thia step.

What is the problem ? I did it a few times over the years , if the metallization is good, headlight will be okay. If it fails, it's just time for a new one.

first of the water leaves trails after it dries on the reflector and the inside of the "glass" second problem is that this method is useless since 100% if the headlight is dirty inside its definetly not a new one with a reflector in perfect shape but rather a old one that someone wants to save to avoid buying a new one also another problem is that you need to get it dried perfectly or else it would fog and from what i seen in the video its not dried perfectly at all

Alcohol on the end remove trails. Distilled water can be used as well. If headlights are old they still can be good if not burned. This video is about a headlight that had dust on the insides because car was driven while caps of the bulbs ware off, any other suggestions how to remove the layer of dust on the inside ?

@@MeFixingEverything well my right headlight was in the same stage so for the glass i cleaned it with a paper towel on a stick (it worked from what i see) and for the reflector i used an air compressor to blow the dust (not sure if it worked or not but the light improved a lot)
