Headline Season - 96-97 Buffalo Sabres Highlight Film

"Headline Season", a highlight film of the Buffalo Sabres' 1996-97 Northeastern Division Championship season. It was the Sabres' first season in (then) Marine Midland Arena, and culminated in Derek Plante's Game 7 overtime goal to defeat the Ottawa Senators in round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs; Hart, Vezina, and Pearson Trophies for Dominik Hasek, The Selke Trophy for Michael Peca, and the Jack Adams Award for Ted Nolan. Film is hosted by Rick Jeanneret.

Yeah. He’s the only good announcer Buffalo’s ever gonna have. The old one was OK. But he doesn’t hold a candle to RJ. And that Dan guy sucked ass. I just hope Buffalo finds a way to get at least that final playoff spot.
