I have the korg exp2 Which works flawlessly with my helix floor. But with the mx5 it gives me 35 min and 100 max in parameters and if I connect it to the second output (of the korg ) it gives me 0 to 10 max

It just takes a lot of experimenting. I don't quite remember what I did with that Rig in particular, but I do recommend experimenting with the mic on the cab. Changing those around makes a huge difference.

Sure thing. You can either use the guitar input on the mx5 or the aux send/return.

Nope. Just an expression pedal. You can get more footswitches by using the midi ports with an Ampero Control

@@robfordomjones that I’m not too sure about. You can plug in an expression pedal into the Ampero control and configure it but I’m not 100% sure you can do that specifically.

Hi i cant seem to get the toe switch on my onboard pedal to work…is this something that only works on some pedals like wah wah etc? Also can you use an external expression to control B parameters in advanced mode eg filters etc ?

What I want an eternal expression for is to have a wah pedal on the floor, but my MX5 on a stand at waist level so I can read the screen and switch with my hand. I can do volume swells with my guitar knob.

That may or may not be possible unless you use it with a midi controller that sends a toe switch message to the mx5 to turn on the Wah pedal. Theoretically of course.

Yes you could. But you would need to turn off the cabinet signal block on the MX5 and really adjust the amp signal block to get the best result.

i wanted to use an external expression pedal for volume swells, but for some reason my moog ep-3 at max toe only achieves 75% volume. so annoying since the built in expression pedal is far too stiff

You can adjust the tightness of the built in expression pedal using an Allen key

I go into the Guitar in of the headrush with a microphone (recording my handpan instead of a guitar). The problem I currently got: Using the looper while playing handpan, I need to control it by foot. The noises of using the Pedals of the mx5 is disturbing as the microphone catches it. My idea was to add a footswitch with softer pedals to avoid it. But a foodswitch doesnt seem to work with the mx5. Do you maybe have an idea for another solution? Thank you
