I was on the fence about the validity of the rumors that Ralph sang for Bobby on parts of "Every Little Step" -- until I saw this video. Ralph did an excellent Bobby impression starting at 3:20. Ralph is probably a better Bobby than Bobby is these days.

Ralph is also (at the very least) on backgrounds, too. His name is listed in the credits on Bobby's album as a background vocalist. So...his voice is very much on Bobby's album. Now, as a lead vocalist, we don't know for absolute certainty, but most certainly as a background vocalist.

im certainly aware that Ralph was on background vocals for the album, but he's not credited on Every little step or Roni.. which is what I thought this comment thread was about. Babyface usually kept his own artists and himself on backgrounds so it's unlikely that Ralph was on any Babyface tracks.
