Sniper headshots at least takes skill to land so no, it's not easy kills when LMGs and ARs do it easier. And sniper one shots do belong in the game just like they did in WZ 1.

needing an attachment is probably the best way they could implement one shots. just make it be a special bullet type, or a special barrel, and balance the gun around it. also remove the damn bomb drone. or maybe make it not show player diamonds so you have to actually use it deliberately and even then need to actually know where youre sending it

The short TTK is rough as it is. Longer TTK is for better skilled players landing more shots. It's why other games are considered a competitive game and this one isn't. I played both but really enjoy the way the 2 shot snipers impact the game play.

Getting a HS takes skill tho.. not to mention everyone has 6x self revives anyway. If you get downed by a SR at range you're still likely to live unless you're caught in the open. In which case it doesn't matter if it was a SR or AR that downed you. SRs in this game need a rebalance and make it similar to caldera. Light SR has shorter one shot range while heavy SR is slower but one shots at all ranges

@@MazevG he's talking competitive. Cs:go is arguably the biggest fps competitive game. Just because cod is easier for the average joe to play compared to cs (purely because of aim assist) doesn't negate the fact that high ranked players will consistently have crosshair placement at head height and can hit flick headshots (in cs). Look at any high level competitive game and just count the amount of headshots you see in the killfeed (along with snipers since they 1hit) that is them hitting your supposedly "very unlikely to achieve ttk" within CS. At the end of the day the palyerbase of cod is clearly split into two catagories. Those that enjoy a fast TTK and those that dont, both have pros and cons at a casual and competitive level. Whichever you prefer is a preference. A good player is going to shit on a bad player regardless of how fast or slow the ttk of an fps is.

I don't quite see how they're going to patch this because incendiary ammo is just doing what it should do. They would have to either remove all the burn damage, ruining incendiary ammo, or lower headshot damage with snipers, which are already crippled with things like the RPK, MG48, and flinch being so high.

I was always thinking that they should do oneshot headshot snipers up to a certain range. 150m for example. This way you get the fun from sniping without having to deal with bullshit 300m instant death scenarios. Or limit it to ammos like these so you can't have 1000m/s and it actually takes skill to line up the shot.

found out about this on Friday I ran into two different snipers running incendiary and thought something might be afoot with the sniper meta so I searched online and heard about this. can confirm it works. Really hoping they don’t patch it! This is how they should one shot with a little less bullet velocity or it would be too OP. I think this is a nice compromise.
