I will never know what it is like to be transgender but I strive to understand and put myself in the shoes of those who are. I thought being gay was hard but I see people who are transgender being discriminated against and I feel nothing but pain for them. If only the world we lived in was accepting. This video gives a small insight into what people have to deal with.

Trans people sometimes may not completely look like the sex they are transitioning too so a lot of people are able to discriminate easier due to visual and audible cues. The basis of my comment was to convey the point that trans people are more discriminated against, even in the LGBTQ+ community. Also I’m not 100% keen on gay and lesbian people being in the wrong body. You are getting gender and sexuality confused. If you stand by your point, what would you say about people who are bisexual?

Honestly I'm at a loss for words sort of and not sure what to write. But I feel like I need to right something. I appreciate the film. Many people take some things like usually a bathroom or changing in the locker room at the gym for granted and don't give it a second thought. I think these real world scenarios where not everyone can feel safe and normal and accepted automatically, is important to have more visibility on. Hopefully than we can have a more inclusive world. I may not be trans, but I took the pledge in college to be an "ally" and I meant it. I would gladly go with someone to the restroom if they felt safer that way.
