Lukas has amazing talent. I am glad he won. If he didn't win I wouldn't go out and buy Supernova's album or whatever they are going to be calling themselves since they are being sued for using an other bands name.

The longer version of this song (on his band's MySpace page) is even better! Great as this performance is, some voters were turned off by his hair-of all things. Not quite sure what to make of that, but I don't care about hair, I loved Lukas' ode to his mow-ther!

I've been a Lukas Rossi since the show, and I agree that he sounds WAY better solo. He just does such a better job doing the music the way he wants to do it without worrying about the rest of his bandmates.

@mahesso because you know, he can only hit 7 different octaves. Unique isn't bad. He has a very unique voice. He can make his voice raspy and low, but he can nail the high notes just as easily.

The best version of this song is he one he recorded with his band Rise Electric a year or two before going to compete on this show. The Supernova version suck. Gilby Clark has never been a Metal Guitarrist. The version on the album was stripped down, Gilby made it sound whimpy. The house band version is the closest to the original. BTW the Rise Electric album is just amazing. Songs like Crave Me, Lonely Ones and Headspin are simply post-grunge masterpieces.

@dtfreak I believe i've heard the Rise Electric version, And the only problem I have with it is it runs too long and gets a bit repetitive, Thus I prefer the version with the House Band, I didn't even bother listening to any of Supernova's shit, It was kinda doomed to tank from the get-go
