I came from San Fernando Pampanga, My family is in business class. We kind of know the Filipino Chinese business community. San Fernando is a big hub for Chinese businessmen. Here in France, specifically in Orléans, my child (13 yrs old), who’s in middle school, is not allowed to use his phone in school. They can only turn on their phones once they’re out of the school premises. If they have an emergency issue, they can always inform the admin or profs, and they’ll give them the permission to use the school’s landphones. Thus the children are more concentrated with their studies, and during the recreational period, all they do is play with one another, more on social interaction, which i think is best for the kids’ personal and social development.
