栃木県ですと雪が降る前に雨に変わりそうですね。 ロックモードでは40kmの速度までです。それ以上に速度が上がると自動で的にオートになります。 もし、スノーボードなどする場合は運転気をつけてください。

Excellent video and explanation. I'll soon be the owner of a 2011 Nissan xtrail nt31 20x that's equipped with the CVT transmission. It's currently on its way from Japan and I just want to know what's your thought on that model

My X-Trail has a manual diesel engine, so it's difficult to compare. In Japan, gasoline CVTs are overwhelmingly popular, so they have the advantage of being easy to use. There is a big difference in transmission efficiency between manual and CVT, so off-road driving should be avoided. Enjoy the X-Trail!!!

@@HeadwayDrive thanks for your response. I've checked and realise the petrol with the CVT transmission 4x4 is mostly dominant in Japan. It's capable of doing mild off roading base on the reviews, just have to ensure you don't over heat the CVT... I'm wondering on the fuel efficiency of it

Thank you, I feel the possibility of going far. It is fully equipped with a parking heater, so you can sleep in the car. However, it is impossible to sleep because the duct is not pulled into the rooftop tent. You should be able to sleep comfortably by pulling in the duct.

Is it oky to drive on this type of roads with snow on Lock mode, at a 40-50km/hour ? i understood that the lock mode is only to drive 5-10 meters so you can free yourself from mud or snow...but im not sure its true. Can I use on mountain road the LOCK mode to drivea slow on long distance?

Yes, of course it is possible to drive like that. Lock mode is for driving on snowy or muddy roads, and is limited to approximately 40km, and will be deactivated once this is exceeded. Therefore, it is safe to drive for long periods at low speeds. However, 4WD vehicles are not perfect, so be sure to observe the following when driving. 1-Do not drive underwater such as crossing rivers. 2-Do not drive continuously in areas where the front wheels tend to spin, such as sandy or muddy areas. 3-If the wheels are floating in the air due to a derailment, etc., do not let them spin unnecessarily. There is almost no difference in fuel efficiency between 2WD mode and auto mode, so I always use auto mode.

Hello San. my T31 is FWD manual transmission. Question regarding Transmission/gear oil, How can we check the oil level so that we know we can add it? When to replace the oil regularly? I didnt find any video about T31 transmission oil change, especially for engine MR20DE. Arigato..

The engine oil is changed once a year or every 15,000km, and if there are many rough roads, it is 7500km. The amount of oil is 3.6 liters to 3.8 liters for vehicles manufactured by February 2013, and 4.0 to 4.2 liters for models after that. (Nissan Genuine SN Extra Save X (API: SN, SAE: OW-20)) The specified amount of transmission oil is 2.0ℓ.(Nissan genuine mission oil GL-4 (API: GL-4, SAE: 75W-85)) However, there is no replacement standard for mission oil. I think it's okay to replace it every 50,000 km. I'm not sure about MR20DE, but I think I will drain the oil from the drain below and add the specified amount from the filler bolt on the mission.

Did you check anything? Is the amount of brake fluid appropriate? I think there is a possibility that the ABS unit is out of order. It is a box with many pipes connected.

@@HeadwayDrive have checked the brake fluid is ok, this just happened after the clock spring repaired, before it was showing ABS and airbag sign, VDC off light and the horn was not working, but after the clock spring repaired now horn is working, no airbag sign, no ABS sign, but VDC off light remains there and the steering a little bit stiff when you turn to the right or left

基本的にはマニュアルに従うことが理想ですが、すでに15万キロ走行してしまっているので、判断が難しいところです。 新車から 定期的に交換していれば 、不具合が生じることはないと思われますが、走行距離が多い車両では燃費が下がったりトルクが出なくなるなどのリスクは否定できません。 現状、走行に不満がなければ、車検時にディーラーに相談してください。 交換後に不具合などが出た車両の履歴などがあるかもしれません。 後は交換後に不具合が出た場合の対応がどうなるかなども確認しておく必要があるでしょう。 「交換はします、でも不具合の保証はしません」とならないように。

そうですね、この状態で4人もしくは5人乗車するとなると十分走行に影響するでしょう。 ですので、キャンプ場で設置するような大荷物は持ち合わせていません。 登山の翌日にオートキャンプが基本です。
