Thank you, Andrew, for a really personal video. I had an accident in August 2013 that resulted in a Severe TBI. I understand the grieving part: you previous self is what's been lost and you need to become "OK" with that. My neurologist told me that my recovery was nothing short of a "miracle" and he wasn't really exaggerating but being both honest and encouraging. Really enjoying the latest campaign. A huge help to so many people.

Had a severe tbi in sept 2013… neurologists told my family if i woke up out of the coma i would probably be a vegetable because of the amount of hematoma in my brain. Broke collarbone, scapula and occipital bone - no helmet bicycle crash on concrete. I had a great recovery, definitely lost myself in that accident and feel like im someone else taken over this body. I have memories of childhood but also other experiences/memories from other human beings. Thy said i wouldn’t b able to see for a year.. i was back working in a few months. Neurologist wanted to study me, my only way to heal was staying away from hospitals and only be in nature. Just found these youtubes, very enjoyable to watch.. hard but thankfulfor them
