Its still same ''old'' video with replaced number of patch, but don' worry, I'm checking if addon still works the same! (checked on 10.2.7 - still same old good healbot, guide still 100% valid! ;)

I just installed Healbot at a random party member's suggestion. It took me some time to tweak the UI to my liking (namely to fit the Healbot stuff alongside my other modded UI elements), but your advice helped along the way. The options in Healbot can be quite overwhelming without context.

under Skins->Effects I would turn off fluid bars. Everything I have heard indicates that in order to have that smooth aesthetic, the bars update slower then with fluid bars off. Also if you are going to have them on, I would slide the refresh bar to as fast as possible - you wan those health bars to represent the real time health of your allies.

If you don’t like healbot a simple alternative is to use the add on “clique” paired with the default blizzard raid frames. “Clique” allows you to easily make your casts mouseovers by simply selecting them from your spell book.

Im using healbot since Wrath and it helped me push m+ every season past 3k. However there is one little thing that can fuck your progress especially in higher keys. Lets say you have two targets dropping health and you want to heal target 1 and then target 2 with the same spell. Target 1 dies mid cast,your mouse will be "blank" on the target until you "unclick" it so to speak. At the same time,because of that small delay target 2 instead of receiving heals normally gets delayed and dies too because of that milisecond "unclick" or blank spell id like to call it.

Same, healing with healbot only since wotlk, even using it on some tank specs to quickly Lay on Hands, or power infusion when playing shadow. Useful and easy to use addon

Common problem, probably some settings got reseted during DLC launch. HealBot dont have setting for ''friendly NPC'' as VuhDo have, but even that setting is working properly like 30% of times, so best thing you can do is to have frame for target/focus and heal through that

That's Adventure Guide, its not addon, its in the base game. You will find in in menu where you also have your bags/spells/guild/talents ;)

Also,I'm interested,is there any option that glows up bar frames,i saw in "grid2" you can glow up bars by weakaura settings,idk how it works but as a priest,you can see by that,when someone is bursting and you will buff him additionaly with priests power infusion. Hello Walfej I really like htis video, I am just returning to healing and using healbot. I have two questions though. I noticed in throne of the tides that the healing absorb shield isnt showing up on my party frames, I can only see them ticking dmg but not how much of the shield is actually left or that they have the debuff at all. Is there a way to fix this in the settings? The second question is in regard to the seedling trinket. I made a macro for focus target but when I am in combat and i focus the seedling it doesn't update my focus frame on healbot until after the combat is done, meaning i cant heal through the focus frame since it doesnt appear till afterwards. Is there a way to fix this aswell? Thank you !

Healbot have some extra bar addition that can be setup on ''total Heal Absorbs''. You find it under Skins -> Frames -> Bars -> Aux. If you mean you focus frame wont appear, then go to Skins -> Frames -> Bars -> Visibility -> bottom right you find Focus part and there choose to 'Always Show'. This is a good video but there are a couple things I really didnt like. I know its a video and you can go back pause and everything else but you go too fast especially for people like me using it for the first time. He knows where all the categories are and options but for me after he says go to icons then do this and literally by the 2nd step i have to pause the video go back and look for things he says. you probably have bind on ALT + something, its problem from game, you need to stop using alt or go to settings, find selfcast and unbind it. No idea what you mean with second question :D

you probably have dispel binded on 'ALT + whatever' . ALT is WoW default bind for self cast and since this dlc its not working with this addons (healbot/vuhdo etc) so you need to go to blizzard binds and unbind selfcast or just dont use ALT modifier in addons binds

thanks for the video nice one, I find a few things really annoying was wondering if you can help, 1. the raid frames are silver in color and slightly see through when im not in combat, when I enter combat they turn the color I selected in the options, green for full health then yellow then red for low health, I would like them to be in the 'in combat state' all the time if that is possible ? also I find it hard to figure out who is in range of me during combat. 2. Is it possible to have a debuff to be just a red icon, not a row of icons I cannot see in raid anyway, similar to decursive, when its red I just click it I dont need 4 different icons for a debuff.

I have the huge problem that healbot isn't showing the hots on the bars (blocks for each player). So far as I know its not possible in HealBot but if you fancy some extra settings like that i would recommend you VuhDo. It's addon for same thing but with much more ''freedom'' with lots of settings at cost more time required to maintain functionality as u want. choose 'spells' from left column of settings above settings of specifics clicks you have 'modifier keys' when none is selected, u set up left click without holding anything else, then you can click 'shift' modifier key and then setup again left click for 2nd spell, unselect shift, select another modifier key and set again ability for left click.
