I grew up in foster care and went through 29 homes, saw and went through a lot of what you did but went through many more as well, yet my faith in God is what has brought me through being semi sane lol. I do have C-PTSD and have a service dog for when I am in public alone as I do not do well in large groups or when people are being loud and yelling. I am almost sixty and I still find things that will trigger me to this day, I still need to learn to give it all to Jesus on those harder days where the devil tries to attack me with those memories. I try to be a silly fun loving person as well and I am extremely insecure with myself as well. HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH HUN GOD IS GREAT

I have watched your channel for a long time.First off you are a beautiful spirit.I watch your interaction with your kids You give them such a spirited experience of life.I think you for your age and a mom to a few kids has rebounded from your upbringing.Celebrate your success ,many would fall you have shown the strength of people who have lived longer than you.I as a child came through a tragedy that some would collapse.I am 74 and still standing.Give yourself a Gold Star you would get millions if people gave them away.My parents are both deceased,I have learned at my age they were human and if one lives in the past it will not give one the life they deserve.Smile beautiful Lady you have ran the race and have in my opinion won the race.Love your spirit and your hauls.🌹

A lot of this hits home for me. 💗 My dad was a very angry man, he could be good when he wanted, but, most of the time we feared him. I try to bury it, but, there are things that trigger and will bring it all back. I am so glad you have the courage to talk about it.

Hi Stephanie!! Hon I totally feel your pain when you come for an abusive home as a child it follows you through your life! I promised myself my children would never ever go through what I went through but life has been hard! All the hurt you bottle up inside affects you in so many different ways it’s been hard for me to remember everything because my brain blocks everything!! My life has gotten way better since I’ve been sober for 2 years and I brought the lord into my life more!! You will make it through and healing your heart and soul will make you a stronger!! I hope you have a very blessed weekend!! ❤🙏🏻

Stephanie, I hope that you read this comment. I have watched your channel for years. I also experienced as a child some of those things that you describe. I am now in my mid 70’s and I have lately been working hard to let go and stop allowing the memories to dictate my future that I have left. The reality is that no one can unsee or unhear or unfeel the things that someone else has abused to us. But we can work on healing as you are doing. Forgiveness is letting go because we truly have no control over what others choose to do or say. I have control only over what I say or do. I found this short video that has helped me so much, titled: “What is Forgiveness”. “Forgiveness is to release from all punishment. It doesn’t ignore what was done...it refuses to punish the one who did it….it was a big deal…it was wrong what they did. Forgiveness does not ignore the pain. It says that person did something horrible and I will not be your punisher for it….It gives them to Jesus....says you have your way with them.” I am glad that you are healing. Thank you for sharing your video. You are an inspiration to others.

The Lord continually tells me to “trust and believe “. When I remind myself I feel comfort. At 56 years old I had never been alone, I always had someone to take care of, then I was alone and only had to take care of myself and I didn’t know how to do that. It feels so selfish to only think of myself. I’m still on my journey and learning maybe to love myself. May God bless you with peace and healing.

Thank you for sharing with us and I hope it facilitates healing for you. I grew up with addiction and family violence and it is very hard. It takes years to heal but healing will come, I promise. Your testimony will help others on their healing journey. You are like me, because I had such a hard childhood I made sure my children didn't want for anything and knew they were loved. I've been a single mom since 1987 to ensure that too. Now looking back, being a single mom was the biggest blessing and allowed me the space to grow and heal.

Like you said, God is always working for us. He can use anything for His good. The enemy will try and bring things up to stop you, but nothing can keep you from God's purpose. The things you went through were terrible and no child should have to see or experience any of that. Yet God has protected you through so many situations that could have gone the wrong way. Forgiveness is a huge breakthrough and it's something that Jesus wants us to practice even when it's hard. Even forgiving yourself. You had people in your life who tried to protect you as much as they could. It sounds like your dad learned a lot of things from his own up bringing. Alcohol can also turn people into someone you don't recognize. I've dealt with family members with addiction issues and it's so hard. You love them and you know they aren't really that cruel when the drinking isn't in control. It changes people in a lot of ways. Continue to pray and seek The Father. You are such a strong person even if you don't always think so. Jesus can heal anything we experience in this life. He took on all sin and sickness on that cross for us. His sacrifice is why we can go to The Father and have eternal salvation and new life. I can't imagine how hard it is to not have your family with you. God knows your pain and He is working in your life to comfort you. The enemy will not keep you from your walk with God. Understanding is absolutely what we need. The word is the answer to everything we don't understand about this life and our Father. You already have a lot of wisdom from what you've shared, but the fact that you keep listening to the Lord shows the most wisdom. Your obedience is amazing.

I am a person who has been through hell and back. My mom used to beat me as a kid for no reason because she was mentally ill. I watched my dad get sick and die from cancer when I was 15. I am 51 now and have my husband and kids, and of course Jesus-that is all I need. I do not let my childhood trauma affect me at all. I've moved past it because dwelling on it is not good for you mentally or physically. Let it go; both of your parents are gone, and that situation will never happen again. For your kids’ sake, let it go. And maybe try seeing a therapist who can help you talk through it; it will make a difference. Also my daughter in law her mom was a drug addict and her Ex boyfriend was the leader in a gang and he beat the crap out of her and made her do really bad things, Now she is with my son she moved on and is a very happy girl... Let it go and give it to God..You will forever miss your dead loved ones dont let anyone tell you differnt but Do not hold onto past traumas it will give you cancer. My pastor told me this.

Girly, you sure pegged it...u should put it on a tshirt..When God starts Blessing the devil starts messing. lol I will say as a Mom, that your Mom would be very very proud of you!
