A couple tips: 1) you can use a mana pot every 2 mins in classic so don't wait till OOM before potting. The sooner you pot... the more mana pots you can squeeze into a fight. 2) The saytrs in felwood are decent for farming demonic runes. Demonic runes are on a different cooldown timer from mana pots. This is why they are highly valued.

Raid healing with paladins is Flash of light (downranked) spam with max rank in on your bar for damage spikes. rarely use Holy Light through the raids. Holy light is too slow for a lot of the fights and if it doesnt crit it hits hard on your mana deficit. You use it when you have to but it is a timing thing. Flash of light crits by 2-3 paladins on MT and OT can keep them up with rolling HoTs from Priests/Druid. Others may have done it differently I guess but thats how we rolled through until they nerfed the spell ranks and ultimately removing them in wrath. Biggest thing in vanilla raid healing is Healing coordination which has become sort of a relic in current raiding. I will add that with a guild group of 2-3 holy paladins and the rest as arms warriors you can trainwreck BGs in vanilla.

ok guys since iam really noob can some1 tell me why in holy spec i see consecration?(dmg aoe) and holy shock in most builds?as far as i know holy shock isnt that good.30 whole secs of cd, more expensive that 1 flash (almost double mana) and it does less heal than 1 flash. my build is : holy talents all spells except (divine str/improved seal/consecration/holy shock/faith) 31points ...prot talents improved dev (5/5), guardian (2/2), toughness(3/5), bok (1/1)...and retri talents might buff (5/5). 4 points now remain to spend then in which ever talent u want .

you just stack + healing and use low rank heal spells never go oom, also use blessing of light on raid/tank, with pure healing items stats, you will heal x2 or x3 more then a paladin in full T2.

Kristijan Stojan I hate people like you lol. Cmon man math is fun when it’s not forced and becomes useful when applied right. Crit is fine but think about the math behind how crit and int are linked. Healing power is pointless within the conversation as it’s an X factor you want as much of independent of int or crit. Int gives you crit and mana. Int also allows you to cast longer since not all heals nor even 50% will crit. You think of Int being used when you DONT crit. It’s only meaningless when you do crit. Wasn’t it 22 Int for a crit? We also have to keep in mind, Paladins are alliance and get 10% more stats from kings and 10% more from talents. The knowledge you have is “base”. Also +healing is the least effective out of all the healers as it’s main Spell only is 1.5 sec cast. This just seems obvious my man.

I thought the mechanic that removed you in combat was added in wrath. In vanilla didn't it just give you temporary invisibility? you still stayed in combat. kind of like how blessing of protection didn't wipe your aggro permenantly, just until the effect ended.

1. unless specifically asked to grab an (imp) blessing nobody will give a flying fuck about your spec. You need 36 talent points to make this class work, nobody gives a fuck if you're not minmaxing except if you're expected to grab BoR or imp BoM i.e. 2. People clear MC in less than an hour in green gear and understaffed and kill Ony with 20 man in under 2 minutes now. Consumables are convenience for healers until AQ and Naxx and until you get prot/ret gear to farm gold yourself you dont want that. 3. When you mentioned how great paladins are in pvp (they are) why didnt you tell people that stoneskin (dwarf) is a pretty good racial and that the human diplomacy is insane for pve? 4. Using HS without Divine Favor is basically a wasted cd, it heals for less than a FoL and costs two times the mana. there's a reason why people use it mostly offensively on cd in pvp 5. You maximally downrank FoL to R4 and ONLY if you have the bonusheal to make it happen. You'll never even cast R1-3 unironically unless you're like below level 40 6. You will NEVER activate Devotion Aura outside of pvp. Retribution Aura helps the tank to maintain aggro as it is a budget thorn buff. From the ~700 Armor at max rank he doesnt even gain 2% physical absorb. Imp. Conc aura is your way to go pvp aura and is pretty good for spellcleave runs. 7. Elemental Res Auras are GOAT in pvp&pve as they lift you and party to the next resistance bracket resulting in a flat ~20% damage reduction and high resist chances. 8. BoP can be purged and only protects from physical damage, this is the most important note on that ability 9. Blessing of Freedom is what makes you so incredible in PvP and certainly in some PvE situations aswell and you didnt even mention it 10. Your Purify spell removes 1 poison, 1 magic and 1 disease effect, which makes it the most versatile cleanse ability in game all other healers can only remove 2 of these debuffs 11. Judgement of Wisdom, something you didnt talk about aswell is something casters will love your for, rather than all the Light Judgement proccs that'll just go into overheal most of the time 12. Blessing of Salvation is what makes PvE piss easy for alliance, how can you not point out that this single ability is what even gets 100 dps retris a raid slot. Do you even comprehend how many fury-warriors and locks this ability saved? 13. I would not take consecration in ANY pve situation, it's mana intensive as a dps help out and this isnt FFXIV you're not expected to deal damage as healer and only useful to decloak rogues with r1. 14. Imp lay on hands is a meme, it's a last resort spell that you'll barely ever use, because it consumes all your remaining mana and effectively removes you from the fight. there are situations this spell certainly prevented a wipe or saved someone in pvp but these are pretty damn rare and if they happen more than once an hour you should blame the hunter in your group, business as usual. 15. The second build you're showing takes im dev aura and 3% hit. If you take 5/5 redoubt and 2/3 imp block, take 3/3 imp conc aura and 2/3 imp HoJ you got yourself a viable PvP spec that you can use for raiding aswell. I cannot stress out HOW MUCH BETTER Redoubt + imp Block is over 3% melee hit and im dev aura, even in fucking pve. 16. If it's elemental for your groups survival you can use Divine Shield to get out of any kind of CC and be immune to everything for 12 seconds. This is huge and no other healer can do that, you can even get out of ccs that a medallion can't. 17. Maybe tell people the healer basics, dont panic run away, switch to conc aura when attacked so your casts arent delayed, keep cool until the tank picks up aggro you're at ~30-40% physical absorb in most phases of the game, literally the tankiest healer there is, triggerfinger on DS. Precasting/aborting is huge in classic. Baiting CS/kicks that way. 18. Recommend some goddamn Addons like Pally Power, Grid2/Vuhdo/Clique/TellMeWhen, nobody fucking micromanages blessings without Pally Power, especially when leveling with 5 minute blessings and nobody casts heals from hotbar in 2k19. 19. Blessing of Sacrifice R1 makes you immune to soft-CCs if you put it on someone who gets attacked 20. You can read the Wowhead guide which is way more comprehensive in under 10 minutes, your video is 11 minutes long. 21. Tired of being ganked in Everlook, Gagdetzan and Marshall's refuge? The mechanical yeti summonable quest item from the "are we there yet yeti" questline is summonable 10 times and counts as civilian level 1 with pvp enabled, resulting in a dishonorable kill if killed. A honorable kill INSTANTLY takes 200 RANKING POINTS from a player, NOT Honor. They lose rank INSTANTLY. Rank, is calculated from the correlation of your activity vs faction activity. 200 Ranking points can be hundreds of hours of pvp for the top dogs, so just ruin some lives!
