I would love to know if you happen to be an Empath because I am and I am thinking that it might be related to that energy. I actually have example videos of me praying and light energy is flashing just above my head. I also have always been difficult to numb at the dentist. My pain is in my left eye of all places.

I tell everyone who has this horrible disease like I do - they a regimen of Magnesium 500 mgs., B Complex, Vitsmin C 500 mg and Vitsmin D3 2000. I started taking these and after a little more than a month, the pain started to go away. I've been pain free and in remission now for a out a year and a half, and finally with the approval of my doctor, was able to stop taking Gabapentin. It's worth a shot, anything to try and get rid of the horrific pain that we go through!

I have been suffering with TN for 19 years.A month ago I went through the worst time of my life where I had constant 10/10 pain for 12 hours nightly for over 2 weeks . I cannot explain what it is like to be in such fear just trying to just make it through minute by minute. I too am desperate to address this at root cause level, which the drugs and procedures don't do. I have had neck trauma, major emotional triggers and chemical toxicity (heavy metals) which I believe have damaged the myelin sheath around the nerves. I am so happy for this lady that Bagnell have helped her unpick and address issues at the root cause level

Hello people. My mom is now 86 and she has this since 1995. Since nothing works she had decided to stop taking the medication Zeptol 200CR recommended to her. During monsoons and winter season her pain gets worse. She is surviving only cause of her very strong will power. I watch helplessly and try to offer comfort but I know at this point one doesn't want comfort you just want a cure. I deeply empathise with all suffering from it. May God give each of you the strength and courage to go on. Bless you all.

I've had Trigeminal Neuralgia for 25+ years but initially thought it was my teeth and they were fine. I went to an Endodontist and he injected me with alcohol in the gum and face and the pain was gone. He told me to see a Neurologist as he thought I had Trigeminal Neuralgia. I had it in the three areas on the left side of the face. The forehead, cheek above the upper jaw and the lower jaw. I was taking massive amounts of Tegretol and Gabapentin to keep it at bay. It then went dormant for many years and if I felt a twinge I took 1 Tegretol and it would be fine. Now I have only one tributary above the upper jaw and it's actually worse than all three. It goes up to the eyeball as well. Now there is a treatment called Gamma Knife which is non invasive and pinpoints high levels of radiation to the spot in the brain that controls this nerve. I haven't made up my mind between that treatment or to wait it out and hope it goes dormant again. Now I'm pushing 60 and if not for my wife and daughter I might take myself out but that isn't an option. Hope you stay well.

Heh JP; hang on in there. I’m also nearly sixty and still working as a support worker with adults and children with learning disability’s. For me the worst time is trying to lie down and sleep. More often than not I have to sit upright with a pitcher of iced water to swill around and spit into another jug to relieve the waves of searing pain. Of course some days are better than others, however I also need to make an informed decision as to how I carry on. I have radically changed my diet and that has helped significantly. Good luck to you.

Worse for me was that no one believed me, including medical staff. Most just don't know about it. Once I left the hospital because the doctor would not give me the dose of medication I needed (Lamotrogine). I knew I had some at home. I hope I will not need to go to the hospital again for anything. How can it be that I would be screaming in pain and not believed? I always keep a few doses of the med in my purse.

I have Multiple sclerosis and TN and It has slowly gotten worse over the last year. Some days its dropped me to my knees and I'm a grown man. I also have a pretty high pain tolerance and I can tell you the best way to describe it is like biting into an electric fence. The warning signs are little tingles on the side of my cheek and it seems like within an hour it his really hard.. This last week has been the worst. I wake up moaning in pain 5 times every night, I can't talk hardly at all, I cried for the first time in 11 years, I can't eat without moaning in pain every single bite, I can't even swallow spit in my mouth without moaning from the pain. It has happened so much this week it feels as if a fire had been in my mouth. I'm trying so hard to find something to fix it and nothing is working. I take 3 daily does of Tegretol 4 pills each dose, and its not even touching the pain right now. I need massive prayer. The MS is pretty bad but the TN is a nightmare. I'm only 40 I don't know how I could do this the rest of my life.

I have to tell you the day I wrote this up until last night, my pain was getting worse as every hour went by. It got to the point even drinking water was making me cringe and either scream or moan like a child when I started to come out of it. I couldn't deal with it. Then it got even worse. I was asleep and woke up moaning in pain. I got out of bed by forcing my body to move and I have never done anything so hard in my life. I have always been a hard physical worker in my past, I played sports and was great at hoops and baseball. So I know what a workout is. This was a full on nightmare. My head was like it was on fire while being electrocuted. I do want to mention yesterday or the day before, I went to my doctor and was put on oxy, but it didn't even phase me at all. Then this morning about an hour before you replied I did the dumbest thing ever. I saw some cake our neighbor lady had made and thought this is going to hurt... and I bit into it. Preparing for the worst, I held onto the counter and nothing happened. My face is still sore and I have trouble talking, but that is it? I have no idea what happened but it's like it started to get better. I even ate an egg and a banana for breakfast. I have never had pain like I did last night. I spent most of it thinking that I should call 911. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kind offer and I encourage others in this kind of pain to call you right now. I have got an appointment here in town with Cyber Knife, and I'm also going to have my dentist make sure all is well, but I'm hopeful I have this thing beat down for now. Thank you again from WA state.

I have been on extremely high doses of the usually TN meds but lately I have found relief with a new med called Vimpat (lacosamide). I actually have been able to decrease my other medications and can tell you that I can think and react more clearly. Ask your neurologist. Better than sitting on the bathroom floor trying to push meds into your mouth with the back of a toothbrush!! Believe me I understand the pain!

The best suggestion is - change the diet to a pure vegan diet for a month. I know it's hard to believe that diet cures TN, but it's a fact, u have to accept it and follow it Why not try for a month of pure vegan diet, does it cost much? Naah Does it take ur time away? Naah Does it affect health?Naah But Sure it will bring a change. Diet is the cure for TN, that's why meds don't work permanently for TN Because it's too late for people to realise that diet is the cure for TN😂 Those who want to be pain free, follow it. The rest is upto youu . Completely avoid gluten

There isn't one magic treatment as you realize. Each person suffering with this condition should evaluate several areas related. The immune function/status is vital, the vestibular system may have imbalance, and brain wave activity is altered in this severe pain state. The take away just opens up other thoughts to look into for each person individually.

I've had TN for 3 years now although it stays with me for months and then goes away and comes back again. Every time I've had the attacks of the sharp shooting pain in my face it has been awful! I couldn't be a mom to my daughter i couldn't eat, talk, sleep or do anything at all but live in the tub hoping the heat would give me some relief. I've been on four different medications each with there own horrible set of side effects until I settled with topomax. After being on that for over two years and dealing with the side effects of depression, feeling completely stupid because it makes you forget everything to the point that you can't even have a conversation and to feeling like a zombie just dragging myself through the motions. When the attacks died down again I weaned myself off of it which was a big relief to me and my family but then about a week ago I once again started getting little sensations in my face that have led to small attacks, only This time it has arrived I feel more prepared to deal with it and it's because of "Anthony Williams the medical medium" I don't know if you've heard of him but he has healed many people with all different types of illness and one of the things we can do for TN and really any type of illness is to drink 16 oz. Of straight juiced celery juice every single morning on an empty stomach. He also suggests that we take eggs, meat, and dairy out of our diet and eat only fruits and vegetables for 28 days straight to help our bodies to cleanse and heal itself along with a morning detox smoothie consisting of wild blueberries, spirulina, cilantro, organic straight Orange juice, and dulce. I have been doing all of the above and I'm amazed at how much better my attacks are this time and how long I can go without one versus the other times I've dealt with this and I'm not on any medications this time. I truly believe my body is healing now and it won't be long before they stop altogether! I finally have hope and I want that for all of you! I know how agonizing and life destroying TN really is! The medical medium has a podcast on TN you all should listen to it and look into this. Medication is not the answer! We need to heal ourselves not just mask the pain and deal with the million extra problems that the medications cause.

I also have been having a very painful auto immune disease on top of this Tn for the past ten years along with other chronic health issues that I've been battling. I've been able to heal from most of them by switching to a plant based diet and following Medical Medium protocols. Unfortunately, I have had life happen and moved several times, in and out of the hospital, got a divorce, 3 surges this year, so I would be lying if I said I have stuck to the celery juice and protocols consistently. I have spent this last year doing serious research about TN and other people's experiences with this disease. Ive also been working with a team of neurologist, vascular neurologists, neuromuscular doctors, oral surgeons who have been running test to see exactly where the damage is even though I know it's in all three branches due to my pain and symptoms. My TN was caused by a dental injury which makes it even more upsetting that this was completely preventable. Always, the reason why I am writing to your reply is because I wanted to let you know that I have been spending hours and hours of late nights finding TN videos on youtube and going through the comments and leaving Medical Mediums link to his TN podcast with all the info of how to heal it and exactly what it is. I just want to spread the word so people can have hope. It breaks my heart that people are being misdiagnosed, taking years to even get a diagnosis, thinking that it's their healthy teeth and getting several ripped out trying to find the pain. There are times that I have felt suicidal myself, so I will not rest until I make sure that every person that's fighting this disease has Anthony Williams knowledge and protocol to heal this horrible disease. So, with all that being said, thank you for spreading the word. I would love to connect with you privately and keep in touch throughout our healing journey on the MM protocols. If you message me privately I can send you the link to my instagram where I share my health journey

Why is no one talking about the treatments that can be very helpful I had cyber kn I've done and I've not had a bad episode since then that's over 10 years ago My face is semi numb on the right side it's kind of like how your face feels after you're been to the dentist and you're coming out of novacane it doesn't hurt. I did not want the surgery because I didn't like the idea of drilling a nickel size hole in my skull to I take care of the trigeminal nerve.

Hello, I'm from Belgium and I have most likely trigeminal neuralgia. We don't have support groups here. Can it be that my ear always hurts in the beginning of an attack? I've started taking tegretol but is it normal that my right side of my face is still sensible the whole time? Please, answer me!

Our approach is to evaluate brainstem and cortical brain function to determine if these structures are properly responding to neural activity. We also consider immune panels in bloodwork as immune imbalances can be part of solving the mystery. Whether it’s a brain based approach, immune, or other factor, we attempt to uncover all the potential aspects of the condition.

what was causing my TN was subluxation in my upper cervical spine. 5 bones were misaligned. had almost 40 chiropractic sessions. the pain was slowly going away. i have no more TN now. allopathic doctors don't believe in this stuff. have your upper cervical spine checked.

Question for those who have suffered long-term. Why don't you just destroy the nerve? If it were me, I would rather be numb in the face then deal with what I can only imagine the pain must be like
@beatusaliena45
@beatusaliena45 6 жыл бұрын
It is not that "simple" I think. It is not only one nerve in reality, it is probably thousands of tiny nerve fibres and you cant destroy (just) the core or main one, cuz I think among numbness you could become blind, deaf, unable to chew, unable to move tongue, no saliva, etc.
@trudmcd2744

That is not ALWAYS possible. You also lose the muscle in your face & it droops. NOT pretty.

It's vital to assess brain networks by QEEG (brainmapping), with this neurofeedback can improve plasticity in problematic networks. Aslo, looking at vestibular function, immune panels, and neurovascular flow patterns we are able to implement a more complete view of where the issue may be coming from and develop a series of therapies that improve pain control in the brain.

My MVD saved my life. I was in such pain that suicide wasn't out of the question. After an MVD I was pain-free and drug-free for 12 years. In those 12 years, I kept an interest in TN to learn more about it to help others. When the pain started back I knew what to do. I tried some supplements and settled on taurine, lion's mane, and a B complex, and have been 100% pain-free. I am restoring the myelin sheath (insulation) around the nerve instead of treating the pain with drugs. I learned more in this area from those successfully treating themselves with MS than from any other source. Google taurine and myelination, and lion's mane and myelination. If you doubt that demyelination has anything to do with TN, google it. There are other products out there that help in myelination. I think that it's a shame that the medical community gives drugs to deaden the pain but won't look into what you can take to heal. If you had an external wound would they just say, here take this for the pain and continue to let you bleed? There are other supplements that have been shown to help with myelination. Here's an article I just came across. selfhacked.com/blog/myelin/

I don't know, but trying some supplements is sure easier than an MVD. If the supplements don't work for you and you are a candidate for an MVD, go for it.

@@user-cw5yr5ew8o It was horrible, but even though I was in a lot of pain from the surgery, the TN pain was completely gone. I laid around and suffered for 2 weeks. After 3 weeks, even though I was still weak, I went back to work. I didn't feel my full strength back for 6 months.
