Healing Winter TEA: Rosehip Harvest, Processing, and Dehydration

Ever since reading the Euell Gibbon's books, like in Junior High, I've wanted to harvest rose hips. I look at them all the time when I'm riding, or, yes, mowing them down in the pasture. But there are still a lot of rose bushes in the hedgerows. I'm happy to have found your channel, although you are in a way different climate. New York state is wet, but not as wet as the PNW. Thanks!

I can't wait to make some rosehip tea!!! Now I need to forage for rose bushes! Is it ethical to sneak into someone's garden to find those hips?

You can always ask! Sometimes folks don't even know they have edibles growing near them, and they're happy to learn that! Offer to share some of your harvest, perhaps 😊
