Thank you, doctor, My document checklist that the official website created has only two documents(passport and criminal check) yet the visa application system via the commercial partner has so many sections including education, financial, personal, etc.(just like I did when I applied for the visitor visa for exam). When I applied for a visitor visa two years ago, I was able to edit the checklist and add the names of the additional documents. Now I am unable to do that and the checklist involves only two evidence. Do you think this would be an issue, did anyone encounter the same situation where the checklist and application do not match?

Yes there are sections to upload each document by category although different countries might use different softwares. When I applied I had the option to upload all the documents by category. They did have a maximum file size there. Again this may vary country by country but the immigration website will clearly state these limits when you apply. So don't worry. 👍

I'm not if parents can act as sponsors for the work visa as your trust will be the sponsor in this one. It's either 1270£ in your name or the hospital checks maintenance. If still in doubt would be worth asking someone who actually used their parents as a sponsor or asking a lawyer.

Hi Florence thanks for the query. Could you please be a bit more specific. Which visa are you in particular talking about? And could you share the full breakdown of your score results. If applying for a health and care worker visa as a doctor you need to be fully gmc registered. In order to be gmc registered you need a minimum of 7.5 overall in IELTS academic and 7 in all other bands.

So the health and care worker visa is still available to adequately qualified individuals from Pakistan. There are no limits about the number of applicants as far as I am aware. They most certainly haven't mentioned this fact on their website. The visa only takes 3 weeks to process.

I think your NMC registration would have been a better document to submit as opposed to the OET. But that's just my opinion. For doctors one needs to provide their gmc registration as evidence of English language competence for the health and care worker visa (alternatively we can submit ielts if we want to). Sorry to hear about your difficulties. It can be a frustrating process but just hang in there. The one i took was IELTS UKVI academic. So it met both ukvi and gmc requirements. Is that option available to you in your country?

And after they have run their specific checks they'll send you a CoS. The first step would be to apply for the jobs out there. Search on NHSjobs to see if you meet the person specifications.

It's on the website of your local visa processing centre. Every country has a different one. When you begin your application on gov.uk you they have you check for your nearest visa processing centre.
