Health Equity in Business

Health systems can’t address health equity on their own. Businesses need to pitch in, and the role of private business in health equity involves more-much more-than making sure workers get access to affordable, quality coverage. Investing in equity includes everything from recruiting a diverse workforce and making sure individuals have safe working conditions, fair wages, and paths towards advancement, to adopting more sustainable practices, especially as minority communities are particularly vulnerable to pollution and extreme climate events.
