*Not hating at all as I definitely could be more eco-friendly too* but damn why does Costco use so much packaging? Like, some of the items are packaged, and then packaged in another, larger package! Costco needs to step up their plastic-free game. Loved the haul!
@HealthNutNutrition5 жыл бұрын
I agree I wish that they used less plastic

Unfortunately plastic is the best way to reduce food waste

I love the haul, but wow there is so much unnecessary plastic with these products! Costco needs to get with it and decrease the plastic use!!

The Mango is definitely tropical, I am from Venezuela (but I Live in The United States) and at home in Venezuela in our backyard we have 2 huge Mango Tree, It is common that twice a year my parents give a lot of mangoes to our friends and neighbors. They have Mangos all year, sometime greens bit that ones with salt and pepper are delicious, really sour. (Sorry english obviously is not my first language).

i wish costco would sell produce not in so much packaging!
@carolienvermeij48075 жыл бұрын
Healthy living for me is eating well for my own health but also keeping the environment in mind. I understand that packaging is often hard to avoid but some easy adjustments can be made. Buying chopped up cauliflower is convenient but so bad for the waste problem.

A lemon tip: I buy the bag at Costco... I wash them...then zest them..I put the zest in a Ziploc bag and freeze it...it stays pretty loose so can easily measure out a tablespoon or whatever for recipes. Then I juice the lemons and freeze the juice in ice cube trays. Then I take them out and freeze them in freezer bags. I put one ice cube in warm water to drink in the mornings...so easy!! Plus my ice cubes are about a tablespoon so easy to use for recipes

I love shishito peppers!!! I love blistering them too. They’re especially good in this Korean dish called “jangjorim.” My childhood friend’s mom always had all the ingredients to make it because I loved it and was over every week. It has round steak (she sometimes used flank but I didn’t like it as much), garlic, honey, soy sauce, dried kelp, water, and shishito peppers. I don’t know the measurements, but I’m sure there are some recipes you can reference online. It’s seriously soooo good. It was even great to eat cold at a picnic with rice and kimchi, bento style! I hope you try it someday ❤️

I really like this video! My husband, daughter & are all doing Weight Watchers together. Since I want to broaden the foods I eat, especially veggies & proteins, I made a list of the things I want to try that were on this video. The thing I always get at Costco, is a KISS!!! Lol! My oldest son works at our local Costco, so we usually see him when we go. All kidding aside, one of the things I really like is a bagged salad mix. It's called Mediterranean Blend. It does come with croutons & salad dressing. I usually don't put the croutons on my salad & I also take a very small amount of the dressing that comes with it. It's really delicious! Great video!! I love your videos, they are really informative.
