After many years homemaking and homesteading, my best advice came from my niece. She said she had to simplify her meals and I decided to give it a try as I have a small farm and homeschool and it was a gamechanger for me! My family raves about my simplified meals as I use more quality ingredients, most of which we raise or grow ourselves or purchase from local farmers and it all takes less time!

@Mamato3

@@godsbuckets well we’re Dutch and we love boiled potatoes, cooked or steamed veggies en organic meat to go with that. I always make a good gravy with butter to pour over the potatoes. And sometimes fry up some mushrooms and unions along with the meat. Sometimes I make a quick curry sauce to go with cauliflower. It’s basically typical Dutch cooking and my kids really enjoy it. It’s really nothing fancy at all 😅🤣.

Yes, me too! I was just telling my sister in law that today! I was a young mother of three boys in the 90's/2000's and I had zero interest in natural, healthy or organic living back then. BUT, now that I'm a grandmother of 6, (7, soon!) I have more time to research all the health benefits of natural living, and hopefully implement some of these practices in our everyday lives, even at our (middle) age! I just looked up a local dairy farm and I cannot wait to get some raw milk and other essentials from them!

My daughter never ate zucchini, even if I put it in meatloaf or something. But recently I have been filling zucchini halves with seasoned burger meat, top with cheese and call it cheeseburger stuffed zucchini and she eats it. Some fries with it (both go in the oven) and it's a quick meal and still healthy despite it sounding like fast food.

I just gave Lisa a compliment- lol - how did this escalate to all the negativity? No one mentioned obesity after having children at all. I as a mother myself, just know how hard it can be sometimes to look like before pregnancy. Lol. Gracious! I used to be really big, but with hard work and good diet, I've managed to maintain my current weight, hence, I'd never say anything demeaning to someone who is chubby. I don't think anyone on Lisa's channel would insinuate something negative. I think the negativity may stem from ppl who aren't happy with themselves and that's sad. But again... Lisa has a rocking body, and it takes effort to maintain a healthy diet and to stay active and it's definitely not easy, especially with multiple children. YOU have to accept and be happy with yourself, others opinions shouldn't bother you. @TheRayjay - I totally agree with you 💕 Sending love to all, be they small, medium or large. We all beautiful
