Every time you say "boughten" my skin crawls lol I didn't think it was an actual word until I looked it up and read it was like a dialect thing. Thumbs up to canada 😂

Actually, there's really not much of a difference between organic eggs and regular eggs. Look into pasture raised eggs. You can really taste a difference because the chickens are actually roaming on real pasture and eating bugs like they're supposed to. Please do your research on them..

Also a household of two and we buy just as much food, if not more! When you eat almost all of your meals at home, you really need to stock pile the fresh and frozen foods, as well as pantry staples. Only difference is we go to Costco weekly, especially for our produce because we eat some many fresh fruits and veggies. I will definitely be keepingmy eye out for those veggie patties here in Alberta.

I really enjoy your videos and subscribed a few weeks ago. I really recommend that you try to find local, grass fed and pasture raised meats in your area. "Organic" meat means that the animals were given certified organic FEED...not that the animals are any healthier or happier or that they are raised in a natural, sustainable way or given the diets their meant to eat. Just a friendly heads up :)

I always dread going into the "vegetable room" at Costco. It's like 20 degrees in there (although I guess it can't be because everything would freeze) and I have to rush in and out. I never saw the frozen corn, black bean, and edamame mix. I'll have to go check out if my local Costco sells it.

I was disappointed with the organic eggs. They tasted no different to me and the yolks were pale yellow. We buy the omega eggs from Costco. The yolks are always super rich & bright. We love them. (And those coconut clusters are life changing!!)

Daniela Montalvo US is expensive too, but these Canadian prices are off the wall 😱! I wonder how people live (also when I watch property brothers and people need to drop a cool 1 million dollars on a family home). I live in Europe though, so don't have any inside knowledge (besides having lived in the US for a while).
@taylorervin17 жыл бұрын
Louise van Loosen you guys seem to forgot that it's costco, the package sizes are MUCH bigger, therefore yes it will be more but when you break it down, most thing end up being cheaper.
@louisevanloosen71137 жыл бұрын
Well, I guess that's true for quite a few of the bulk foods she's showing in this video. But Daniela happened to mention the spinach, which I just got a big bag of this week. I paid 0,89 euros which may work out a bit more in can dollars, and it wasnt organic. But still - WOW!

I've been watching your videos forever and I really enjoy them! I have one question though: About the chicken.. how much is in one of these packets (I'm from Germany and we don't really have large packets like these so I can't really guess 😂) and how long does one last you? You said 'quite a while' but what does that mean? I'm not looking for an exact date but is it like a week or a month, just a rough estimate! 😘

So funny to read this comments on a Clean Eating channel. Go away!
@MeridaEllaSDB6 жыл бұрын
Neither of those statements are supported by basic science. I have two degrees in genetic engineering. MSG causes brain damage, headaches and metabolic problems. GMO's are more complex than most people's attention spans and bitchy fights for social dominance. I support golden rice, GMO laundry enzymes and HIGHLY SUPPORT them in medications like insulin and cancer treatments. Likewise, the glyphosate (Soy, corn, sweet beets) is toxic to the liver and kidneys. They cook the wording to be misleading, human trials will never be run because it is unethical and internationally illegal for various reasons. Other pesticides and herbacides are widely known neurotoxins and cause significant harm to people and animals - that is what those "keep off the grass" signs are about. Pesticides: read the back of a can of Raid - you are eating that. Seriously, spray raid on a salad, or 16 times on a punnet of strawberries then eat it. How am I expected to take you or anyone seriously about that? There are other issues, various parts of industrial food production, that cause Lake Erie's toxic algae blooms, farm worker poisoning, antibiotic resistant super bugs, soil erosion, and slave pay for farmers and workers. I dearly enjoy copying and pasting this from file. Ya'll are not going to get an expensive college education for free on youtube comments. Nor get a medical degree in 5 minutes. You could try the MIT lectures on youtube though. Happy trails!
