The little girls are blessed to have such a grandma. She is so hardworking and knowing a variety of recipes. Village life is prosperous. You need only to go into your yard and pluck fresh vegetables which is all so freely available. In the city we have to depend on stale vegetables which reaches us after a day.

Grandma's a ninja with the blade, isn't she? The girls are such lovely children. I love to watch the Elder ladies feeding the girls and loved seeing the elder child feeding the younger one this time. Gotu Kola Kanda. Have been drinking it for the past 40 odd years. I get mine from an ammay who brings it from her village. The creeper variety (val gotu kola) is supposed to be the best. This was told to me by an Ayurveda physician.

O my Allah! These leaves we also like. We make vorta/chatny by these leaves. In Bangladesh we ccalled it Thankuni Pata. I like her onions cutting too much. And this recipe is wonderful.
