It's funny how tastes change. I remember when the Pistons changed from the Bad Boys logo to the flaming horse head, everyone hated it and they used that logo only for a relatively short time. Now it's all the rage and the younger generation wants it back. Same thing with the Houston Oilers look, back then they were mocked for looking like the Smurfs and they were on the lower end of NFL merchandise sales. Now the look is considered a classic that's even being copied by college teams.

Just an idea, when referencing teams past logos, it might be better for the viewer if you put the old logo on the screen so we know what exactly you are referring to.

Great video. As a Blazers fan since I was a kid, the spinner has always been there, although I’ve always thought there were better logos in the league. I think the red part of the spinner is a stylized, angled, lower case b, and the white stem coming off the spinner is a matching letter L. I would love to see a historical comparison of each franchises logos since the beginning of the team. The classic Seattle SuperSonics logo of a half-basketball (like the Kings’ ball) topped by the Seattle skyline (including the iconic Space Needle) has always looked better than the Thunder’s designs. Finally, I wondered if the six lower stars in the Sixers logo comes from the Six in Sixers--but one of the older franchise logos from when they were the Syracuse Nationals has six stars in the bottom of a ring, just like this, as well as five stars in the top of the ring.

The Cavaliers should have just stuck to the LeBron-era logo with the sword - it was the logo in use when they won the NBA championship in 2016. The current logo? Yeesh. The pre-LeBron era logo was much better (even if it didn't have a sword in it). Even the ORIGINAL 1970s logo with the swashbuckling cavalier was better than what we have now!
