@@aladyfirstkdaI say it’s a calling because it takes a special Grace to be married to a man of God who has to shepherd people. Also since the man of God is chosen by God to lead His people, a pastor’s wife will need a Grace to back the assignment of his husband up through prayers, words of encouragement, through even understanding the assignment God has given her husband in order to allow the Man of God function in his office without interference. A wife of a man of God will also have to have the Grace to be welcoming to people she may not have any relationship with. If I say “calling” I didn’t mean it is written in Scripture. I only meant it takes a special Grace to be a wife of a man of God who shepherds people. Not everyone has the Grace for that. David’s wife didn’t understand her assignment as a wife of a prophet so when David danced before God, she mocked him. I hope this helps…❤️

My pastor ex-husband would invite young people to our house without telling me and then disappear and come back very late when he knew I had made a plan for them to eat and prepare for their sleeping. Unfortunately these are the same young people that he used against me to paint me black, and even had a child with one of them. I don’t have a problem with church members visiting our house, but there must be communication and boundaries.

As challenging as the task seems, it is only God that prepares one ahead of the journey. My husband got called after marriage and sincerely it can only be divine grace adapting into the new realm. I've got one of two boy s (whose foundation, reasoning and ways are so awkward) that you begin to question if such being exists. He was brought in without my consent despite myself being the link to the grandmother's relationship with my husband. But he does things according to his way,leaves to and appears from school (outside town)at will, claiming Daddy knows each time I question and rebuke him. As patient and tolerant the Ministry calls for,it can be so frustrating meeting and coexisting with lots. But above all,there is always need to set some rules, discipline that wouldn't affect the marriage itself as God Himself q

Such great uplifting message. My prayer is that God’s Spirit will also open the hearts of the pastors and apostles to involve their wives in the decisions that involve their wives. Ephesians 5:21: submit to one another out of reverence for Christ: this mutual submission helps bond the two couples to be able to journey together in love, faith, trust so that the wife does not have to struggle alone. It also helps the two to grow up together in accountability and transparency. Yes, there will be somethings that will be between God and the pastor or apostle but most things are not so the latter do not have to be handled as if they are mysteries. Men of God should remember this element of mutual submission to their wives in reverence for Christ, just as Women of God and wives also should. Where it is missing, they should seek the help of the Holy Spirit to know how to address it in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control.
