Jeanette Aw is undoubtedly the best actress in Singapore. All her crying scenes are phenomenal and she portrays the emotions and the intentions of her character really really well. I really like her alottt and I hope she acts more even though she’s also a good director!

看过小S，ELLEN，JIMMY其实我觉得权的主持风格蛮好的，她不会说从你人生从头聊起，她会自然带入。不会让女星尴尬还能问到东西。我喜欢看访谈节目，我觉得欧萱因为小娘惹有了故事，可是本身娱乐圈就不想我们想象的非黑即白，所以不用在意太多，另外美女一般都会有被友情伤害的经历。😄她现在做自己喜欢的事，就是华丽的转身。

Not a fan of both Jeanette or Joanne, but I think Jeanette deserved 2009 Best Actress. Her acting in portrayal of mother and daughter in Little Nyonya is just too good, touched my heart. Especially the switch from mother role Ju Xiang to daughter role Yue Niang, natural and distinctive.

白微秀在小娘惹的演技很棒。可是欧萱的角色月娘没有什么成长空间好让欧萱发挥。反而白微萱的角色发展空间很多，从一个温柔的女人，被强奸，变成一个精神不清楚失意的人，这都是character development,观众也会觉得有突破。月娘本身性格都是很强的，虽然遇到瓶颈，可是都能反败为胜。所以我想说的是，欧萱白微秀都演的好，只是角色不好。今天如果是白微秀驾驭了月娘这个角色，也不一定能拿女主角奖。

Junior Bee 个人意见啊。我不觉得是角色关系。好的演员不管角色如何，都有本事让观众相信你就是角色本人。注：突然想起三面夏娃的Bobo， 郑惠玉不是在演BoBo，她就是BoBo，那种感觉。 再如瑞恩的方童玲，我本人不喜欢瑞恩的性格，可我在看志在四方的时候就直认瑞恩为方童玲，不是瑞恩在演方童玲。欧萱是个非常努力的艺人，所以我每次看她的剧都看到一位演员很努力的去演一个角色，而不是那个角色本身。看了她的访谈，更肯定我个人的观点，她的每个角色都有欧萱的影子，是欧萱在演谁谁谁。

白薇秀里面的角色很有爆破性 吃虫那段部分太令人影响深刻了 讲真的两个都是实力派 欧萱也演得很好 但是因为整部剧都很苦命 所以给人习以为常的感觉了 而白薇秀一开始是善良开朗的 最后直接变疯了 她的剧本很讨好 当然演技也好 。

Neither a fan of Jeanette nor Joanne. To be honest, Joanne act better than Jeanette, even some of the extras can act more natural than her. Jeanette's acting is stiff and unnatural and lack of substance. But, Jeanette is a hardworking actress, just not talented enough in acting.

Totally agree with you! Joanne is a born actress while Jeanette is a hardworking one. Somehow you can tell that Jeanette is working very hard in most of her scenes, including little nyonya & Holland v. Whenever I watch her series, I see Jeannette Aw, an actress working very hard playing a character, not the character whom she is playing. Take Rui En for example, when she was playing FTL in Dreamakers, I do see her as FTL. As for Jeanette, I only see Jeanette playing ZFE, not ZFE herself. NB: not a fan of Jeanette, Joanne or Rui En & not siding anyone of them.
