Tit for Tat is basically all AH team did pre trial, like spoilt brats! Neumeister said that the files were mostly corrupted (on purpose) as they hadn't been stored on the proper software in the manner ORDERED by Judge Azcarate. She still didn't hand over her devices for forensic imaging, and the programmes were from the 70's 💁‍♀️ surely done on purpose so they couldn't be forensically imaged, thus, not finding out her deceit. Disgraceful the lengths her and her team went to deceive. All they want to do is blame everyone else. I've been a computer programmer for 20 years. A file CANNOT Have no creation date. Even if that creation date is wrong due to settings. It must have a created, modified, added date etc. There'll never in the major OSes not be a creation date!!!!

@@blakasmurf Once upon a long, long time ago, you could go into the BIOS, change the date and time, then load Windows (I can't remember if it was 95 or 3.1) and the Windows time matched the BIOS clock...handy for changing file dates. Is this still possible?

@@yeost187 What you said. It is pretty simple. Somebody has to file the claim first. And Heard isn't going to do it. Why? Because nobody is going to pay for a new hearing for her if she drops her legal team for ineffective council. And to be honest, I think because this case was so publicized with live TV feeds, she has little chance of getting another reputable law firm to represent her. The judge isn't going to do it simply because the judge simply isn't going to do it. Same with the opposing legal team. They aren't going to throw mud in your face when they got the win. Otherwise, the open the window for another trial and a possible loss. So a free pass.

Someone with a direct, personal involvement in the matter has to file a complaint against Elaine. I'm sure there are some folks out there who feel like they have a direct, personal involvement in this case, but I think the Virginia Bar Association would see it differently. Perhaps they've already been flooded by citizen complaints, which their website states will go unacknowledged, speaking mainly about political figures, but I'm sure pop culture figures fall under the same category.

We know the pattern already of amber and team. Everything amber team did, they accuse of everyone doing. Johnny didn't have to change anything to tell his truth. All he had to do was sit back and let the amber group do all their own damages to their selves. The more they accuse someone else the more bad comes out. If they want it to stop, they need to stop trying to blackmail and destroy others. When they are trying to destroy others their truths of evil has to come out as well. elaine and amber are so laughable now, it is pathetic. Karma got it's fill of amber and her group of evils. Only amber can stop it by being real nice, not fake nice. We know how that will go.

Depending on the file system and document type, the original creation date is often preserved in the metadata unless the file is rerendered because it is edited or exported to a different format. Incidentally, this is also certainly an issue for the photographs provided by Amber. Even at the timeframe those pictures were originally taken, Apple’s photo application could export out the original image, with the original metadata, and the original data about which device took the pictures. In short, the only reason that any photo would have “iPhoto“ or similar as the origination source would be because it had been through that application, and had been edited, and had been exported. And you can actually do significant edits in the current version of “Photo”, and still show that the origination device was an iPhone. Even with a complete re-export into a different format.

Just that meta-data includes both the information stored by the file system (normally 1-3 dates, file name, size, access flags/ownership, maybe source [windows likes to store an atteibute if a file is downloaded from the net]) and for some special file types also information stored inside the file itself (word documents with creation and print time, edit time, author, ...), audio files with ID3 tags (artist, type of music, album, year, ...), photos (Exif data with camera, camera settings, create time, ...) etc. So debates about meta-data can quickly fail rather badly if one part isn't reasonably knowledgeable about the subject. A certain lawyer hasn't exactly presented herself as very knowledgeable. And seems to be quite similar to A Turd when it comes to self-confidence. So I don't think she's much into asking experts for help before making assumptions. I often archive files before mailing, just so the archive will preserve some of the original directory information, when mailing files. So when unpacked, the receiver will see the same change date as on my original copy instead of the time stamp of the save from the mail. This obviously isn't good as evidence given how trivial it is to change file dates, but it makes it easier to later ask "you mean the file from Mars 12, 2019?"

He refused to give any information unless mum gave it first, which she did, then he refused unless i give up my financial documents (because mum is my carer) but i literally didn't have to because i was not an active party to the case. Hes still refusing to follow the order put in place by a judge which is to sell the marital home and give mum her possessions which he wouldnt let her get over the years. I've been so shocked and disgusted recently from reading a Johnny Depp story in the London Metro Wednesday, August 3. Headline: Heard's unseen papers: Depp 'has erectile issue' It goes on to imply rather than directly state this is what led to him to angrily use a bottle to rape her. It's just so disgusting a hit piece and I am sure they skirted around the language to avoid possible libel and written from a certain radical ideology. I have been the victim of abuse and maltreatment from women, but when we speak up we are further demonised and simply give up.

JD's team decided not to fight this battle. It did not really matter. It was an exchange between friends, using some sentences from Monty Python, who might not be known by many people in the US. But yes, Mr. Rottenborn stated that wrongly, maybe this was his intention, we do not know the truth.

I have a question about the photos of the 'damage' caused by JD in the apartment. The two photographs of a wine spill and bottle that were entered as evidence for two separate 'incidents' of JD 'going crazy from drugs and alcohol.' These photos were allowed into evidence, but with the metadata redacted. The two photos were identical. I don't think it's possible to replicate the spill pattern of wine from two separate dates. CV repeatedly questioned AH about the different dates.... AH first stated she didn't know which was from which date...when CV pushed the issue, AH kept insisting that all would be clear about the photo dates if the those dates were 'unredacted.' This led me to think that, absolutely, these photos had gone through some sort of 'adjustments,' including metadata changes. These two photos were identical.

Camera created original digital photos have EXIF data. Most editors and many viewers will show EXIF data. EXIF data includes creation date and camera settings as well as brand, model, and serial number. The EXIF data can survive editing. Copying the file does not change the creation date in EXIF data.

So it appears Heard is well experienced in trying to catch people in compromising or possible questionable situations.

most printed photo's have a date of when it was printed somewhere on the photograph itself and has for decades. If you have a printed picture there is generally a negative, and if that can be gotten it can be analyzed to show where the photographer manipulated the Image to change the photo.

If AH’ Lawyers had bothered to look at the documents that they had supposedly supplied to Mr Depp’s Lawyers then they would have seen that their own creation dates were actually exactly the same format that Mr Depp’s Lawyer’s had reprinted their information. As you stated so eloquently, they would have been the same dates that they were reprinted for the opposite Team of Layers, not necessarily the actual creation dates! Tit for tat is exactly as I would have put it, & also a waste of time, effort & money on behalf of any client who has already said that they are not able to pay what they owe! It looks to me as though AH’s Lawyers are more than willing to waste what little money that she “claims” to have are purely unnecessary attempts to leave AH without the means to pay the Sum Awarded to Mr Depp! You are correct about the metadata on media. I can transfer/copy data from my computer to another computer or storage device and it changes the creation date. Not because I altered the data, but because the medium I copied it to registers it as being created on whatever day/date/time I transferred the data.

That's why they were requested to surrender the devices. Because you can obtain the backups of all the files of all the years using an icloud account. AH didn't do it but JD did it. You can compare the file in the phone and those files in the cloud(originals).

Creation date can change, but not the data in EXIF of the photo. The EXIF is changed when you manipulate the photo. There are also plenty of tools to tell when a photo is manipulated, and the exact area where it is manipulated. Can't see why this is such a big issue, when a lay person like me knows about these tools.

There is a way to see when the file was first created if you go into properties it will show you there the original date.

File date IS NOT meta-data. A file date on your computer is not stored with the file - it is part of file directories data. The file date “may” be transferred during a copy. Note I stated transferred. Photos have internal “meta-data”, but this of course can be easily manipulated. It isn’t designed for the purpose of forensic reasons - it is designed for the user.

It does get confusing as you have, even when viewed in WIndows Explorer, (1) Date Taken (2) Date Created (3) Date Modified. To have a look at some of the META/EXIF data that is visible, right click on the image file then click the Details tab. If you use a program such as Adobe LIghtroom you can see even more Meta and EXIF data that ultimately is subject to editable.

I have had many iPhones, and have back it up and I have some of my photos of my oldest son now said the photo is from 1947 before I was born and he is only 11, don’t know what went wrong there

Could you explain if during the trial if it was brought up that Amber hurts pictures had a legitimate meta-data or not. That was never clear to me during the trial. Especially the photo where she submitted two photos that were taken the exact same second except one supposedly had a bruise and one didn’t, Instead she had changed the filter on the photo.

Sounds like they are trying to use the metadata against JD the way his team used EXIF data against them. Photos have a very different way of holding on to data as to aid in the knowledge of the exact settings used to take said photo.

Can't I set the date on my computer or device which is going to affect any file creation dates? Can't the binary data of a file be changed using certain utilities making metadata unreliable? I'm no expert, but I wouldn't consider any of that type of information reliable, especially if someone has a reason to hide it.

It is deficient of some operating systems that they only maintain a last modified date and not a creation date. Further more if I copy a file in its entirety to say a thumb drive (usb stick) the it is a new file and will have a new creation date that matches it's creation as at the time of it's creation. IDK in terms of Apple IOS but the only operating system I know that has both a creation date and a last modified date is IBM's mainframe operating system of Zos. All the rest only has a last modified date. Think that includes Apple IOS as it has a linux core last time i heard. happy to find I am wrong.

Great explanation. To add further context to this video and for those who still do not understand, I burned two DVDs (from 2002) which was a backup of all my music files, photos and old documents I held on to. The majority of those files were music files I 'ripped' from audio CD's I've owned, photos from ages ago, and miscellaneous WORD docs etc. Over the years of upgrading to new computers (PC's and Macs), I've used that DVD from 2002 to copy that data on to the new computer was currently using. Each time I copied those files from the DVD 2002 a new "Created Date" was created and it changed from 2002 to 2022. So files from 2002 I had on that DVD were and were now copied to my new iMac has a created date of 2022 (the day I copied the files). That's clearly not the case as those files are now over 20 years old yet the create date is in 2022. However if you viewed each file on the DVD itself, it shows the original create date from 2002. ...and to conclude, if I then copy those files from (2002) from my iMac on to a USB or different hard drive, it creates a new date created which would be the day I copied the content from the iMac to the USB drive.

If any of this is true (and I suspect it is), the disturbing part of it for me is not the sexual shenanigans, but the idea of entrapping and then blackmailing powerful men. AFAICT both teams hired OK forensic data experts. Are you saying the court needed a forensic data expert too? JD's expert testified metadata was already damaged when he received the thousands of photographs. Further, evidence hadn't reached JD's expert three months after the court ordered it [a second time?] (AFAICT, JD's team must bare some responsibility). JD's expert cleverly used two pictures entered into evidence by AH to prove manipulation. That seems less than ideal because JD's expert 'got lucky'. Or are you saying JD's lawyers didn't make enough of the damaged metadata, done before they got the data? They had a professional, and AH team refused to hand him the original device. And then they 'lost' it. JD team even were willing to provide the license to the cloning software to have her person clone it and that failed also.

Ingi Ford, thank you. I'd wondered how AH resisted handing her devices over. I had guessed 'lost', but never heard any evidence. I only watched parts of the last two weeks of the trial. Do you know if there was testimony about the 'lost' device? It seems so prejudicial, I can imagine it being blocked from the jury. AFAIK, the only court sanction was the cost of the expert, wasted waiting for the photos. Well worth it to AH.
