Thank you for this video. I was attacked just over a year ago, my hearing aids were beaten out of my ears. One was never found. I purchased from a small clinic, could not afford the additional $3K insurance so just out of luck. Had thought about purchasing same product second hand. Now I think I'm setting up an appointment with an audiologist and refer to his recommendations. Thank you so much for this and ALL your videos

I have been getting feedback only out of my right hearing aid but not sure why,.. i know it’s not the domes, not the wires, because the domes are fitting fine,.. my audiologist said my microphones are fine, there wasn’t any wax in my ear, but if i have fluid behind my eardrum from my allergies, can that cause feedback? Again, it’s only my right one and not the left,..

If you are getting feedback and the domes are fine, then you probably have something else in your ear canals. Realize you can have a little bit of wax that can get in the way and it can cause feedback. Ask her to clean out your ears and see if that fixes it.

Ya, my ear canals were clear, tried changing the wax guards and receivers also, didn’t help to do the feedback

@@kaylasmusic OK so two other things could be wrong...ONE...there could be a micro fracture on the dome. Replace the dome with a new one. TWO...the microphone/microphones are bad. They need to be repaired/which means replacement of them (it's a standard replacement of the parts). Now the manufacturers don't like repairing parts over five year old hearing aids since they don't have the parts for them. If it's under that, then it might cost, but that's possible.

Ya, I’ve tried changing the dome already and there’s no rips or anything but can maybe be the microphones but I’m pretty sure i might have middle ear fluid because of my allergies, but would that cause feedback as well?

@@kaylasmusic Fluid would not really cause feedback. Bad mics would. Something's broken in the hearing aid. Feedback (FB) only happens when something's in the way or the path gets redirected (like added in that broken tubing inside goes around and around). So there's something broken.
