@@prantosarathy386 Yes My friend as you said "Some" these "Some" population is everywhere, including the state you are from may be, everybody not comfurtable when "Some"-one enter their domain, that is why when you enter "Some"-ones domain you have to learn blending in learning their way of things. I live in a non kannada speaking state and i have learnt their language and their way of living , i respect their culture and love these people, i have no regret in learning indian languages , i respect their domain and i live here happily with my family. that is all we Kannadigas expect from those "Some" who enter our domain and show attitute, I appriciate Harman Preet for learning kannada we feel so happy to see people like him.🤗

From Odisha. I lived in Bangalore for 3 years post covid. It took me about 6 months to learn enough Kannada to be able to do all my talking in Kannada. For the life of me I can never understand why some people have a hard time learning the language. I think it was doable for me because I know Sanskrit well. Anyone who knows Sanskrit can learn any Indian language pretty fast.

The Old Textual Kannada is harder than Tamil and closer to Tamil .Sanskrit Kannada is easier which is now used frequently .

@@rimurutempest2130 Old Tamil is also completely different to today's Tamil though, today's Tamil speakers can't read or understand a single sentence of old Tamil. Tamil also used to have 60-70% similarity with Sanskrit until their whole separatist movement started and they literally made up new sounds to replace Sanskrit sounding words from Tamil. They wanted to break the Sanskrit link with Tamil, otherwise Tamil also used to be pretty similar to Sanskrit.

@@orion7326 nope not entirely true . Native Kannada , Tamil speakers have different vocabulary and language formation compared to other speaking Kannada and Tamil spoken people. I can tell by experience.
