@Dreamer World you need to see things for the way they really are. The average doctor in my country(Canada) makes between $400-500k per year, they would like to take time off but they're so greedy they just can't help themselves work overtime so they can make just a bit more, and what ends up happening is that they're caught between their greed and the need to work a more reasonable work load. She’s still a doctor. Not too sure about the show, but most countries (I know more so about Australia) have flying doctors as part of the paramedic service. These doctors are specially trained in treatment. The paramedic will do the rescuing, and the doctor the treating.

Natalie is so annoying here (as always, what's new? 🙄). She only cares about the baby because she's a Pediatrician. But in the end if they waited without operation the mother will die and the baby she wants to "protect" will end up orphaned. Every procedure has it's risks but the damage the mother will get without getting surgery outweighs the risk the baby will go under. She does everything she wants to the point she even disrespects her patients' wishes and decisions. I'm so glad she's gone now.
