Took my gf to see heart circa "these dreams" period when they were super 80sed out! (Not my fav era of heart by far) wish I could have seen 70s heart live!!

Yes sir! Roger, Steve, Howard and Mike. 'That' was the Heart lineup that put the band on the rock-n-roll map! By the way, this is the one song on the Bebe le Strange album that Roger Fisher had a co-write credit on even though he was gone from the band. I'm guessing he was involved in the early stages of putting together songs for this album before he was kicked out. You can 'feel' his influence and presence in this song on the album even though he didn't play on the track! 'Bebe La Strange' was about the last album they did with a rock n roll feel imo. Steve Fossen and Michael Derosier were cut from the band not long after that when the band decided to go with LA producer, Jimmy Iovine instead of sticking with long time producer, Mike Flicker in Seattle.

It kills me that I get the feeling HEART may break up, so they released this live recording in the meantime while the women are working things out. Bebe Le Strange is a fun song that Dave Navarro makes thick and rich with his excellent guitar additions. This CD is excellent. Heart is a very underrated band, still, and Ann Wilson is one of the cleanest, purest female rock singers of all time. That voice that comes out of her is stunning.
