Rock and roll women at their baddest best. When music had a soul had meaning and could grab hold of you spin you around and roar in your face all the while making you smile BAD ANIMALS all of us. Makes you wish for a time machine as you get older. This song goes out to my younger brother. Rest in peace and may rock and roll walk with you along your journey little bro.

very very prog. what a solo. just listened to the live version of Portland 1987. Insane! One of the bands I missed as a Teenager in Puerto Rico. The guitar work here is incredible. So good.

This is actually one of the few Heart songs I think the studio version is better than the live. Also felt that way about Wild Child. For some reason this incarnation of the band sounded much thinner live -- not as heavy as the original band or the more recent band. They were good, but just didn't rock as heavy IMO.

I wish Capitol had sent this track to AOR radio. It's the best track on the album, one of the few heavy ones. Capitol was more interested in Top 40 singles than kick ass album tracks then.

@charcasc74625 ай бұрын
@@alismith3279 Ann was in vocal top shape for the Bad Animals album, but Nancy did sing lead on two songs on the album: There's the Girl and Strangers of the Heart, as well as her lines on this song. Nearly every Heart album (except Dreamboat Annie and Magazine) has one or occassionaly two songs with Nancy on lead (though Jupiter's Darling has 5 songs with Nancy on lead--album has 16 tracks total).
