There is a process where you can activate the chakras by vocalizing with certain sounds, combined with certain affimations. It helps you to "feel" the affirmations in relation to each chakra as well as being incredibly calming because humming activates the vagus nerve.

Clear the throat, be authentic and you clear the heart space too, as well as feeling more grounded in your root. 7 'beej mantras' for 7 chakras are the foundational letters of Sanskrit language from which most of Indian language has evolved. Is it YAM or JAM? I believe the gentleman is chanting JAM, and the only reason I bring it up because I'm thinking YAM, which plays on my mind and it shouldn't in meditation. If he indeed is saying JAM, I suggest taking this chant down and redoing it with the correct pronunciation, YAM.

Muladhara: yellow-gold Svadhisthana: white-silver Manipura: red Anahata: grey-smoke Vishudda: indigo Ajna: white (because encloses all the colors) Sahasrara: there is no color because it goes beyond the creation
