My prayers are with both of you during this time. In Februarys of 2024 I was diagnosed with blood clots in both lungs as well as in my heart. The my ejection fraction @ less than 15%, with medications, rehab and prayer I've been able to regain 55% ejection fraction. All things are possible, don't allow anyone (even doctors) tell you that can't recover fully.

Praying for you Stef. My late wife was a cancer patient who was given 4 months to live. 14 years later she went through MAID (Medical Assistance in dying) in Canada were lucky that we can do this. What ever Stef's diagnosis is there's always hope.

Wow! So sorry to hear this. I hope there will be better news soon on the medical front. You guys are the real deal and every time we have met, you were always very gracious and considerate. Unlike some. Cardiology has come a long way these days. I travel 2 and a half hours to see my cardiologist and it is worth every mile. He has changed my entire outlook on life. Be strong, be faithful to each other and yourself feed your body. Whole Foods rely on the strength of each other. There are those of us outside of your family. We’re pulling for you. I was a nurse for 10 years. Remember when it comes to doctors, you can’t see whether they were that doctor that graduated at the top of the class or the bottom motivations are different from one doctor to another true medical staff to find one that fits and then you formulate a plan and stick to it I was not just a nurse. I am a patient. I got my heart stented two arteries, six years ago and I’ve not had to have it redone, which is unusual for a lot of people, but I’ve always worked out and I’ve quit smoking and drinking in the early 90s one of the best things I ever ever did. I do have one artery on my heart that cannot be stented and it’s 70% occluded. I don’t think about this. I live as healthy as I can enjoy as much as I can I’ve lost weight because 316 was not healthy. I did this without having a partner. You guys have an advantage you have each other use that love is a powerful healer and your friends and the people that look up to you are there to give added support bless you both for sharing with others.

I am so sorry to hear about your heart problems. I saw it come up on my phone and I just had open heart surgery two months ago and I did not even know that I was having a heart attack. I had pains in my chest a pain in my left arm And I was throwing up. I went to the ER and she took an x-ray and said the they were sending me to another hospital to take care of me so one side was blocked to 100% and the other side was blocked 70% all I know is the doctor, he trained with somebody that I know and Iowa they call him Dr. V and he was a cardiac surgeon. He did a great job five hours of surgery. He took a vein out of my leg and put it in my chest and I feel better than I have in years and I have more energy now than I ever did. I’m still recuperating from it because I have to go, take all this medication now that I never took before and I have to go to cardiac rehab something I never thought I would have to do my husband‘s been gone for a few years now my kids are all grown, but my son was there with me and my daughter, my granddaughter and her husband I was blessed to have the doctor that I had and I hope and pray for you that you’re able to get the help that you need I had insurance and I had Medicare. They both covered all of it. I wish only the best for you I know it’s hard going through for me was hard I’ve never, been through anything like that before love from South Dakota❤

First of you all are in my prayers. I have a similar situation to your wife. I have had a Pacemaker placed and my Ejection fraction is 45%. I also been diagnosed with Sick Sinus syndrome which is why I had a pacemaker or my heart would just stop on its own. Did you have any arrhythmias documented when you were wearing the holter monitor? Insurance sucks and I feel your pain please be persistent and hold them accountable. Your 12 lead EKG can show a lot of possible blockages due to changes in the way the electrical impulses move across the heart. I have been dealing with heart issues since 2009 and have had so many tests, procedures etc. So Please reach out of message me if you have any questions? I am in Memphis.

Another thought, having seen family go thru these ridiculous insurance challenges with my dad, the doctor shared if you put your claim thru to insurance to pay/cover and they decline you, KEEP resubmitting it. If they decline you a second or third time, keep submitting and often many eventually get covered. It’s almost a damn game, the fewer claims to pay……..
