Heart of Darkness (pc) Walkthrough part 1

Heart of Darkness is a 1998 video game by Amazing Studio and released by Infogrames in Europe and Interplay in North America (under Infogrames publishing contract) for DOS / Microsoft Windows-based PCs and the PlayStation. It is an n old school 2D puzzle platformer and the first game to have its score recorded by an orchestra though because of delays, it was not the first to be released with a full orchestral soundtrack. The game places players in the role of a child named Andy as he attempts to rescue his dog that has been kidnapped by creatures known as The Dark Souls. The game has about half an hour of storytelling cinematic sequences, thousands of 2D animated frames, and uses pre-rendered background scenery.

I haven't played the PS1 version, but, having watched some gameplay videos, I'd say that they're almost identical.

Unlike all of my other walkthroughs, this one is not for a point and click adventure game, it's actually for a puzzle platformer, I hope it turned out well. I love platformers as much as point and click games, so I'll gladly make walkthroughs for some similar games, if anyone's interested in watching them. In addition to doing p&c games, not instead of, of course :)

Loved this game when I was a child. And it might be one of the only game where the french version was SO much better than the original version, especially the pink flubby guy's voice which is so much funnier in french. For those of you who haven't played this game, this is a MUST! and i'am still shitting in my pants when i'm playing it ^^ thx a lot AdventureGameFan8 for this playthrough :)

I've had this game for years, since it was relatively new, so I wouldn't know. This was played on XP, worked really well. I'm not sure that it would work on Windows 7, but you can install Windows XP (or 98) on a virtual machine.
