I love it so much! 🥰 I just want to say, that singing Gav's songs has always been such a dream. I'm such a fan of his work; I can't tell you how amazing it is to come in on these songs when they're so fresh and new, not to mention the unique privilege of peering into his process. Whether it's "The Moment," "Perfect," or this latest banger, I take so much pride in each one. These are the songs I look forward to revisiting in my old-lady years, eating soup in a beige cardigan, remembering the time I used to rock out on the mic with Gav's music thundering in my ears. I don't always love my voice, but I love it on his tracks because he can draw out the best in me, gently nudging me beyond my comfort zone and discovering new things in my voice that I didn't even know I had. I am just so grateful that he continues to entrust me with these fabulous compositions, and I hope there will be more to come. Gav, thanks so much, buddy. I've been giving my IGCSE O level exams recently and just yesterday I finished. Been around since Khajit like to Sneak. Have the entite catalogue and listen to everything Gavin has put up on bandcamp. Have watched Gavin's journey from writing mostly (hilarious) parodies, to personalised tributes of all the richest fictional characters we can think of. Whilst I may miss the silly vibes from time to time I love to see how the compositional storytelling has matured. It reminds me how our perspective changes as we grow older. If I had a request it would be to return me briefly to the childlike joy and wonder with something new and downright silly. Perhaps even Karliene would be down for something of that nature too.
