The caregivers of the Providence Center for Medically Fragile Children have been honored with the 2017 Heart of Gold award. These incredible people provide 24-hour care to medically fragile children and young people ranging in age from infancy to 21 years.
They are also the final Heart of Gold winners, as 2017 marked the 25th and final Heart of Gold event.

Wow, ones i took care of a lady (i don' t like the word patiënt) who 'only' was able to smile on her bed. Her arms and legs were so bended because of spasm. She was almost blind. She had the best job of the world. Because of her smile. I loved her so much. We are all worth to live life! God bless all the care-givers in this centre! Sorry for me bad English. Bye from the Netherlands
