Hi, future Nurses! Here's another video that talks about "HOW TO GET INTO THE NURSING SCHOOL". I've discussed here the qualifications & requirements kung paano makapasok sa Nursing. Required ba na STEM Graduate ka? Paano kung ABM, HUMSS, GAS etc. pwede ba mag-take ng Nursing?

This is interesting. Nursing student ako dito sa US. Our timeline and pre-requisites vary from school to school. Ang hirap makapasok ng Nursing Program dito. May mga various Nursing programs dito. We have Associate of Nursing Degree (ADN) which is only 2 years and can get you the Registered Nurse License, we have Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), at meron ding Masters of Science in Nursing Direct entry where you already have a Bachelors in any degree and just take the core classes to get the nursing degree and get the MSN upon graduation. Then, there’s the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). BUT before you can get into any of these programs, you need to satisfy all the pre-requisites muna like anatomy and physiology, chemistry, biology etc… You also needed to pass the HESI test or the TEAS test to even get admitted to the nursing school. All schools here wont even allow you to enroll without finishing those classes. Kaya matagal dito ang nursing degree. You need to finish muna mga required classes before applying sa nursing school. Plus, all Nursing programs require their own GPA grades, letter of recommendation, health care job hours. May kanya kanya silang requirements bago ka matanggap, and usually it takes 2-3 tries on average bago matanggap ang isang applicant. It took me 2 years to finish all my requirements bago ako natanggap sa nursing program na pinasukan ko ngayon.

Yes, may Mathermatics(algebra) ang nursing pero di yun ang focus ng nursing. Btw, I'm a non-STEM student too and planning to take BSN. Kaya natin to!

Hello! Tbh, nahirapan din ako sa Biochem nun. Haha. Just know the basics lang. Basic ng Chem. Watch ka sa YT ng basic chem topics para atleast magka-idea ka. :))) I'll publish a vlog soon about NON STEM ppl guide to the BSN. :)

Kuya I am a grade 11 student and I am watching videos here in yt and i saw yours and I've been really confused kasi HUMSS student po and I don't really like Math. But, I am willing and my heart beats for taking up nursing since grade school but in first year highschool I am also thinking of becoming a teacher kasi confused pa talaga ako kung ano ba dapat kukuhanin ko sa college but now I am sure na nursing talaga. I just want advice lang po if okay lang po ba talaga na kahit hindi STEM ang kinuha during SH? or is it really that hard to take up nursing? I hope you see my comment❤️godbless

Helloooo! Yung mga lumalabas sa entrance exam ay depende kasi sa school yun. Merong verbal ability test, non-verbal ganyan. Yes pwedeng magtagalog as long as na ma-express mo nang mabuti 😀
